Mortal Kombat X Kollector's Editions Announced!

The Coarse Edition comes with the game ($60), the pass ($30), and the collectible figure($60). I think that's a fair deal for any hard core (Scorpion) fan that wants it.

Why not hype up the Goro pre-order incentive even more with some extra Goro stuff, like a statue or an in-game alternate skin for him since he's the bonus MKX / time-released DLC character?

I find interesting that they want us to pre order but thet don't show us how Goro plays.

They have commented something about Goro, they can keep the secret, but at the least some footage of him.

Makes no sense at all.

All hype, no in-game footage.
It feels like they wanted to hype up Goro for pre-orders, but at the last minute went "Nope."
Whether or not that's what they actually did is another subject entirely, but the marketing for Goro as pre-order DLC felt a bit half-assed, IMO.

Dude, ALL of the marketing has been half-assed.
 
The thing is that us, the fans, we are always well informed about whatever happens on the game.

The marketing on Goro is not about marketing itself, it's because they want us to BUY the game before the release to get Goro.

Ok, but the thing is: is Goro worthy? Not the character, of course, but to play as him.

They should show us a little bit.
 
Wouldn't you guys rather save your money for this instead?

Its only a matter of time before they announce... "PRE-ORDER AT GAMESTOP AND GET THE EXCLUSIVE SUB ZERO SKIN AND BONUS LIVING TOWER STAGES! POWER TO THE PLAYERS! "
 
This scorpion-fest isn't anything I would buy. SO the normal version would do for me.

I hope the extra DLC characters are just guests and Sonya + Jax, so they don't ruin my vanilla game.

The Gamestop Edition might be your best bet then. It's a good blend of least expensive KE, but most value to what you want.

I don't mind that the Kombat (Season) Pass doesn't include ALL DLC. 15 skins and 4 characters is bound to cost more than $30 with separate purchases anyway. If I like any non-Pass DLC, I'm sure I'll have the couple of bucks to throw down for it. If I don't, I won't.

I seriously doubt it.
According to MK9, GameStop is Scorpion-centric.
IF anyone does come out with a non-Scorpion version (which I seriously doubt), then I'm guessing that it will either be Best buy Amazon.com or 1 of those other retailers.

Same here.
The regular PS4 version is fine for me, and I think that I'll replace the game cover with 1 of these nifty loading screen shots or just replace it with the black and white dragon logo:

As for DLC characters, I wouldn't be surprised if those 2 Klassic characters were either Sonya, Johnny, Liu Kang or Jax.
