Tryning to guess who will be the final boss...

Injustice had Superman from another universe as a villain when people thought someone like Darkseid would be the main guy before the game came out. So Liu Kang going bad won't be impossible to happen.

Well first things first It goes againest everything Liu Kang stands for. Liu despises evil. Its also stupid to think that he can be the big baddie and try to destroy earthrealm. Earthrealm didnt do anything to him. Liu died trying to protect Earthrealm, so he has no real motive to become evil.

Ive heard the whole Shinnok and Quan Chi bringing him back to life and brainwashing him similar to Sindel.... Thats just pure lazy how many times has the whole brain washing thing been done in any kind of media

Liu Kang's MK9 ending was cool as fudge.
 
Shujinko would be my pick.With all the warrior he trained with and all the artifacts he put his hands on,he can have any kind of power possible.Not to mention the Kamidogu.But i know its just wishful thinking.

What's evil to everyone else may not be evil to him. Liu Kang might think his extreme ways are protecting everyone, when he's just oppressing them. Similar to Regime Supes in Injustice.
 
I really wanted it to be Raiden, but seeing how that didn't come true, my mind is going on a new character being a boss. I don't care for the four-armed characters to be sub-bosses (and to be honest, I don't see any returning despite I wouldn't mind), I just would like to see a new character be the boss for this game. Not Shinnok, not Quan Chi, and definitely not Liu Kang.
 
Quan Chi/Shinnok endurance fight would be a cool sub boss. I'd love to see Shinnok feel as powerful as a character that he is suppose to be.

It's confirmed that it's a returning character though.
 
I wont lie... As much as I want a new and improved Shinnok as the big bad, I would LOVE seeing a God-like Liu Kang bring Shinnok to his knees. But the whole Liu Kang thinking he's doing good, but is really doing bad is maybe a little too similar to Superman in Injustice. I don't know.
 
Either superior or not to Evil Kang, Shinnok needs to be present and needs to flex his muscles to show his true potential.

I can see this happening. Surely the timeline has been distrupted well enough to stop Onaga's return. With Shao Kahn, Sindel and Kitana dead, the Edenia part of Deception Konquest is nullified, right?

So you basically want a regime liu kang??? Im cool with Liu trying to find his own way seeing as there would be a distrust between both Liu and Raiden, but not to the point where Liu becomes a dictator. Besides why would you want something thats already been done in their last game?

even regime superman was lame. I dont like Superman, but there is no reason to turn Superman into a bad guy.

I am not sure if you're being sarcastic or not,but there is no reason to think the characters deaths will do difference to Onaga using Shujinko as his tool.He could just train and do jobs to different characters this time.
