PC version of Mortal Kombat 9...

Also Alan Wake is out not only on Windows but on Mac and Linux.

Since when? I had to make an unofficial port using Wine to get it to run on a Mac. Where is this official Mac port that you speak of available? If running it via Wine counts then if I got MK9 to run via wine that would count too.

MK9 may not be able to run that way (via Wine) and we may have to count on yet another porting studio to port it to other operating systems other than Windows.

As far as i know it is imposibru to to smth without modtools. Correct me if i am wrong.

Yes, people make unofficial mod tools all the time. Even the last 3D MK to grace the PC, MK4 had an unofficial mod tool called MK4strip that allowed people to replace the skins and models in the game. I used it myself. MK4strip was made by the community. Not by eurocom, acclaim or midway.

With the new TVBoxOne and PS4 coming out, I hope they won't shaft PC anymore the way they did. They are basically PCs in a small box. No amount of excuses is going to cut it.

You see here's the problem I got windows 7. Does it still work since I use Windows 7? I been trying to look everywhere for a solution to use PS3 controller on PC since I have windows 7.
Well, the screens they show are from win 7, im gonna try it when the time comes, but I think its gonna work.

I don't know how it works but it was available for Mac and Linux in the Humble Weekly sale. Maybe those just came with preconfigured emulators?

It made no mention of that. I would have bought it otherwise. I had it wrapped myself but if they did a better job and had versions available I would have bought it. Just because they have a humble weekly sale or bundle doesn't automatically guarantee a Mac or Linux version. They didn't even have a breakdown on who purchased the most by platform so if it was available for those that was the best kept secret in the industry.

http://indiegamebundle.wikia.com/wiki/The_Humble_Weekly_Sale:_Alan_Wake Says it did not support it. So some people might have wrapped them like I did with Wine. That does not count as supporting those platforms. It's easy to think of a wrapper like an emulator since it makes a game from one platform run on another. But they had nothing to do with that and didn't offer it with the bundle.

There was also a Humble THQ sale and that was windows only as well at one point.

An alternative to use other controllers like that is to use x360ce. https://code.google.com/p/x360ce/

They will not be real pc in a small box. The real pc in a small box will be steambox from valve. Yes they will not have reason to shaft pc anymore.

Yeah, no unless I find any other evidence to the contrary Alan Wake is not available to purchase for Linux or Mac in that bundle or otherwise. Only via Wine.. which has always been the case. That's just taking the Windows version and running it inside a compatibility layer program.

I would have loved to be wrong about that since I could stop using my unofficial version and just use their version if it's better.

If any modders are reading it.. Please make a Shredder mod(me!!) for MK9 PC! I want to play as myself in the game! Also make me very powerful!!

Reminds me of how Sub-Zero in some of the previous MK games kind of looked like Shredder.

Hi guys,

I'm new here, also I'm new to Steam (just created an account). Should we create a Steam group for the game? What should I know, so I can play MKKE online?
