Mortal Kombat HD Remix with MUGEN

I like both hairstyles, Trojans edit does look a bit closer to the original (original Cage had just a bit larger head too I think) but if it's a hassle to change hair again at this point it doesn't look bad as is.
I absolutely love the strong lighting, very MK1 looking, great job.

Is Kano ready for rigging?
Goro animations
Shang animations
Sonya needs UV mapping and maybe an animation mesh. If another Sonya is finished first, I guess we could use that one instead.
Liu is about ready for animation
Scorp and sub need the bio animations
Raiden needs textures


If Goro is rigged in Maya, I'd like to try it out, since I've never done that in Maya.
 
Bleed are you planning to make mortal kombat 1,2 and 3 in hd? Cause I saw your devianart and ive seen you modeled se of mk2 characters as well as mk3's scorpion, cause it would be awesome and if you will please count on me. Also I would like to make super street fighter II just like we are doing mortal kombat, if we do it I want to model blanka LOL. Almost forgot, I will work on liu's fight stance in a few minutes

I'm going through programming tutorials right now for a few hours, then I'll work on Cage.

Goro needs to be rerigged properly. Goro was rigged (not properly in Max)
I once you final Cage stance I will need that for Shangs morph. I think you provided Sub zero and I am not sure if I have the latest scorpion stance. All of Shang's other moves are complete.
Everyone needs bio anims.
Lui is prepared for animation.
Gojiras Sonya needs texture.

Everyone needs ending screens but Kano(not finished), Scorp(need Cage head for ending. And Sub.


We need a few more sfx and we are done.

I added some bones to Cage's rig. Scapula and some shoulder adjusters, going down the crease where the pecks meet the shoulders. Those help when the arms point forward.

I modeled a hair object for him also, and am sculpting the hair on it now, about to start painting it.

I'll pay you MONEY man.. haha. Seriously, I've seen all of your work and it is professional quality. If/when you feel ready, I think a kickstarter for an origional game by you would rapidly surpass its funding goal.

Also, so you know I'm being sincere here. I keep (and continually update) a word file called "Game Ideas" on a USB drive. It is full of my fighting game ideas, in case I decide to drop out of Law School and chase one of my many dreams. (I can't believe this forum doesn't have an eye-rolling emoticon)

And everyone contributing here is amazingly talented. I believe we all do appreciate your time. Thank you.
 
Agreed, it looks absolutely fantastic. Very impressive work on the rigging and animation of the shoulders especially, the deformation looks very natural. The sharp shadow of the hand on the chest looks a little funny (or rather it will in the context of largely lit-from-above stages), but I guess it's probably accurate. BTW, is this animation using the animated breathing textures?
 
It's not using the breathing because it's not really noticeable for this anim, and it adds 3 times as many frames. I'll leave the breathing for his win pose.
 
GOOD GOD Bleed..you almost can't tell that is 3D. It could pass as HD filmed and retouched footage. Your talent is just unbelievable and we are really lucky to have you. YOU nailed it. I would say start animating. Can you upload a PNG of the first frame for Shangs morphs?

Yeah, I think breathing is not that important for stance animation. It will be much more needed in "test your might" animations.
 
Is just perfect Bleed! This is amazing, the characters now are going to look more real. Thanks for the good effort Bleed. Looks Great.
