MKAK vs. MAME

Ok! I made this just to know if how much member of this forum vote for MKAK and MK MAME. . .

Uhm... For me, MK MAME is fine, but my vote still goes to MKAK. .
 
Had to vote for the real thing. MKAK just isn't quite there yet. Not sure why you would want to compare the two since the MAME version is the ripped arcade rom. Only thing MKAK has going for it is online (if it actually worked).
 
MAME = almost arcade perfect with little lag online for free
MKAK = half-assed online with lots of sound issue for $10

How anyone can say the MKAK is better is beyond me.
 
I can't answer this. MKAK isn't available for EU PS3s, and I don't have MAME. I was waiting for WB to get back in touch about the EU PS3 issue, but after the comments I've heard/read, I think I'm actually grateful that it's missing, in a way.

Perhaps the game should be pulled, the customers given refunds, and the devs should work on it more. From the footage I've seen, MKAK is unfinished and broken. The online is bad, the display is too bright, the music is too low, and the sound effects get clipped. Keeping the game available to buy could be akin to the devs asking for charity.
 
Mame is better unfortunately, i have the ps2 mortal kombat 1-2-3 kollection with a component connector and the quality and colours even with the upscaling is way better from the MKAK.

With the level of lag in this game it's not like you're gonna get a fair match, so do you really think the rankings matter? You can drop from a Ranked match without penalty (even after the match has started), so the rankings are pointless anyhow.
 
MAME32 all the way. I play MK1,2,UMK3 (as arcade perfect as it gets) on Mame32 PlusPlus all the time with my MK9 arcade stick and it is glorious. :P Easily no contest.Considering what a broken unfinished piece of garbage MKAK is. Guys I seriously highly doubt even a big patch or two could fix this mess. I concur 100% with those of you saying they should just pull it off psn/xbl completely then re-release a new one from the groundup made by a co. Other than Other Ocean. All they really have to do is take the MK1 from Deception, MK2 that used to be on psn, and UMK3 from Armageddon then tweak them a bit adding in GGPO into a re-release compilation. Everyone would be happy. <All those versions were roughly 98% perfect imho. Really not that hard from a developers standpoint and they really should have done something along those lines in the first place.
 
how do u get mame for xbox 360 ? or can u not get it. nevermind i see it. i downloaded it on my computer now it says files are missing cant be run.

You can't man. Only PC. It would be awesome to see Mame32 on Ps3&x360 but it will never happen due to the huge plethora of required licences legally per game.

thanks. i checked it out and downloaded it. i cant play any games bc it says files are missing
