Characters that won't appear in da future

Boon has pointed Hsu Hao and Drahmin to be out of MK, propably forever. Is there any other character who has extremely low chances to return in the future? I think such fate waits for jokes like Meat and Mokap. The same with Chameleon & Khameleon.
 
With a game like MK9, any character can turn out pretty good. There's really no bad or awful characters in MK9. Even extremely unpopular classic characters have a different gameplay style such as Sheeva or Stryker and I really like them, they're still pretty unknown at this point.. So, Hsu Hao and Drahmin having quite different sets of specials, I can see them working out well in a game like MK9. Hsu Hao just desperately needs an EXTREME MAKEOVER in his design LOL and I honestly don't see what wrong about Drahmin, he's easily one of the most distintive evil characters in DA, but whatever... Boon's preferences on the way as usual...

Khameleon has potential though, but I highly doubt they will ever bring her to the franchise again...
 
It's probably for the best some of these characters are left for dead. Although I am positive Netherrealm could re-imagine these characters into something great, characters like Hsu-Hao and Jarek really should just be forgotten altogether.
 
Hsu Hao, Jarek and Shujinko were the only mistakes in the MK Universe i see
*I want chameleon/Khameleon to return even as npc or a secret boss battle
*Drahim wasn't that bad
*Meat.. he shouldn't be playable anymore but a alt for quan chi maybe
*Mokap shouldn't be playable at all but he should be in training mode or story mode to poke fun at fans
*Blaze needs to come back
 
This thread is not of personal favs or dislikes but of predictions.

How do you see Kira's come back? Which grade of possibility?
 
Drahmin, Havik and, yes, even Hsu Hao were pretty unique characters. Yes, i said that about Hsu Hao. He had a unique design and could have been a better character, look at some of his crazy design concepts, i will never understand why they went with the worst of all of them.

But i dont want to focus on Hsu Hao, lets talk about Drahmin and Havik. Both of them bring original and fresh ideas to the MK Universe which justify further exploration by the MK Team. I like the crazy look of both of them and Havik especially, the cleric frmo Chaos realm.

There is definitly stuff to improve on with all 3 of them, but so much potential right there.

Just to be clear, i dont really like Hsu Hao in the past games, but still think he has the potential to be great, if reinvented properly
 
I never really liked Hsu Hao at all. I never understood who he worked for or why he was all cyborg-like or even why he wore that military cap.
Havik, I would really love to see him make a come-back with Hotaru in future DLC.
 
I actually agree with Hsu Hao. I dispise Hsu Hao, but there's no denying he was pretty unique in terms of move-set. They could really go pretty original with him with a revamp like MK9 since he has pretty much a gameplay-potential of his own already. My problem with Hsu Hao is his design, but that's not something that cannot be reivented (Sheeva's second costume in MK9 is FANTASTIC, that should have been her first!).

About Drahmin, there's absolutely nothing wrong with him.

At the end of the end, Hsu Hao and Drahmin will be victims of favouritism from developers, it doesn't matter they're more unique than characters like Tanya who seems to be a Boon's favourite. They WILL release characters THEY like neverthless... otherwise Tremor would be at least considered for DLC.
 
I beleive that Meat, Drahmin and Moloch all have some of the best chance along with Ashrah. Because since they all involve the Netherealm, they kould be seen during the MK4 era. Or MK10.
 
chameleon and Khameleon and meat i hope not i liked them so much. but chameleon and Khameleon should not be copy cats.. make them different! and i hope Kai and Hsu Hao AND ARMON IS RIGHT I LOVE DRAHMIN AND MOLOCH AND ASHRAH!
 
Dhramin could work if they make him a fast demon of a normal size this time and not a slow giant bulky oni.

Chameleon should return, and Meat was kinda cool, just give him more blood powers and body part projectiles and he would be pretty cool.

You could include Sareena in that list.
 
The following I never want to see again: Meat, Mokap, Blaze, C/Khameleon, Jarek, Mavado, Li Mei, Taven, Daegon, Dairou, Darrius, Kobra, Kira, Onaga, Sareena and that useless old bastard Shujinko.

I actually really liked Hsu Hao and Drahmin, believe it or not. I was a little disappointed to find out they probably won't show up in the future, but whatevs.
 
I hope I never see Jarek again. Even putting aside my feelings toward him, I have no idea what they could do to make his character fresh and exciting.

I think it's because she was just a rip-off of Kano and Sonya. Kind of like Darrius was of Jax, and Kobra looked like he was inspired by that one Street Fighter guy.

Anyway, I think Kai's obviously not gonna return, as is Reiko. Kai seemed to not be popular in the fanbase when MK4 was released. Fujin might not make it either.
