Mileena Thread - "Let Us Dance!"

There are a lot of offline combo display video's, this one doesn't showcase her highest possible %'s but has some %43 no meter combos etc.

mileena has bekome my secret weapon i usec her when the demo came out a bit but ive picked her up again and learned a whole lot more and shes just devastating :D

why do people think mileena is played defensively... i call her the sticky queen because thats all i do is stick to you unless your kung lao

Comepletely agree. I usually start the match defensively and wait for an initial opening. Once you eat that first combo, I stay all over you until the end of the round.
 
Mileena has started to become a personal favorite myself. Never gave her really much of any attention until this newest game and now she is starting to become amongst my better characters. kudos to this thread, its really detailed and put together really nice. Could understand it very nicely. Great job!
 
Starting using her last night found a beautiful 35% bnb. Took her online and wrecked. She's completely underestimated IMO
 
Since this is about Mileena I have one question why is it that she is 1st place in mortal kombat 2 but 2nd to last place in ultimate mortal kombat 3 can someone explain please

Boon wanted to tone her down because way too many people were wrecking with Mileena. She was, in a bigger sense, the MK9 Smoke of MK2. Same with Kitana, she was pretty sick and they toned her down. I believe they also toned down Jade from UMK3 into MKT.
 
Ok, I have picked up Baraka as my main again, and I wanted a female to go with him (this is what I usually do, male + Female) and naturally Mileena is the one I have to go with. What all do I need to know about her?

Just learn all her moves and find u a combo that u can pull off at will...she is a juggling machine and my main love her this is my bnb

2, 3, ball roll, Up+3, Back+1, 4, dash, 1, 1, 2, leaping neckbite

Usually when I do this I get a rage quit immediately

How much damage is that one? I love her 4 2 starter but it just doesn't do a lot of damage

I usually use jp u4 u4 b1 4 4 ball roll b1 4 leapin neck bite
 
Anyone know how to deal with a three-button Liu Kang spammer? I've been trying to figure out a way to punish his combo, but it seems that Mileena's uppercut is too slow.
 
people always get mad at me after i beat them with Mileena...many of them called me a spammer for constantly using Mileena's longest weapon, her crouch kick lol.....one thing i've notice is that when people fight against Mileena, they tend to block more because they fear her teleport drop kick...and when they block, they always do a stand up block instead of a crouch block...i guess most of them assume that if they do a crouch block, i'll use Mileena's split to pop them up for a combo...that's when they're wrong...when they stand block, i chop at their like with her crouch kick repeatedly and follow them around chopping at the leg lol...and when they're beginning to realized that i'm chopping at their leg, they will begin to crouch block and that's when i used her split to pop them up for an easy 30% combo...i always use the easiest combo of her( split, bootdown, ground ball, bootdown, then uppercut 30% damage)...

yep, totally agree, you got the point here. This strategy is deadly with Mileena, she has a good set of mix ups for some close range "mind games", and, anyone who decide to play rushdown against Mileena, without blocking too much, maybe gonna be "ripped in pieces", hehe

BTW, for fun and curiosity purpose, TYM site put a couple of videos of REO, very good tourney player, doing pretty well with Mileena !! Watch !! XD

I´m sorry, and no offense to Reo, but that is not the best Mileena I ever see. Thus he plays smart IMO.

Uh, dude, he won a tournament with Mileena, and considering that we have not seen a Mileena player win a tournament before...
