Mileena Thread - "Let Us Dance!"

I don't know why people even use Mileena, I find her very easy to counter and easily comboed. And trust me i've played some really good Mileenas but I still manage to beat them. Also she's very slow with her combo starters.

Mileena is predictable and "easy" to be countered, if she is being played at hands of inexperienced, impatience and scrubs spammers players, this way, yeah, you can count that she will do only Teleport Drop and Ball Roll every 5 seconds, and this way, you can punish her to death with uppercuts and combos ....

In other hand, being played by skilled and inteligent players, strategist type, she is deadly and annoying to deal with .....
 
Mileena is one of the best characters at screwing with the mind of your opponent IMO. For example, after I finish a combo I'll ball roll over to the opponent before he wakes up and go ahead and start her overhead kick because most people naturally come out of being knocked down by turtling when you're next to them (if they don't use a wake up), therefore I pop them up and start another combo immediately. After I do this a couple of times I have conditioned the other player to come out of being knocked down by blocking standing up when I'm right in their face. So what now? I go into Mileena's b+3, ball roll combo starter and own them that way.

After that, they don't know what the hell I'm going to do to them. This is most effective once you've shown early on in the match you can punish their wakeup attacks so you sort of condition them not to use wakeups. After that, it's just annihilation. The fact that you can combo ball roll out of b+3 is almost broken. Gives you a sick low combo starter to go along with her overhead starter.

My favorite thing is when they are turtling a lot, you use the ball roll to land right in front (at the right distance) of them and they are like "oh sh*t"

Yep, I do that quite a bit too. It's unfortunate if you misjudge the distance though or they happen to do a dash block, then you just look like a moron. The point is though, Mileena is a beast if you use her correctly. I keep trying to use other characters, but I always come back to Mileena. She fits my style perfectly and I love her.

She is mine too. She's my go to girl if I lose too much with other characters or if someones playing cheap

I spam the teleport and ball roll for the first ten of 15 seconds of the first match, and my opponent gonna think Im a total scrub. After this, everything I do is expert combos and instant air sai. Cant this tactic count as a mind trick?

Lol, I do that too with Sektor.

I scrub it up and scout them out the first round, then rape face.
 
Oooh, thaks for the ideas. I really want to share my combos, but you my friend are the best Mileena player/comboer i ever see. Thanks for the tips!
 
The thing with f3,1+2 is that is extremely difficult to connect after b1, 4. Yeah, it´s possible, but the damage is so so in comparison with 3,4 or other moves. IMO, dont worth ot. I don´t use this combo, cos´is extremely punishable if don´t connect, Mileena take more than a second to recover after this move.

I don't use Forward+3, 1+2 (or Pretty Slasher), because I mainly don't like moves that require you to press two buttons at the same time, and, it's not very useful compared to her other juggling moves.
 
And this, of course. 1, 1, 2 does the same damage and require less timing and is less difficult to push the buttons XD
 
If it does the same damage, I like something that looks flashier. Plus try it in practice mode, it's not THAT hard to use, and I actually use it a lot online.

Really? Because those kinds of moves always require me to hold the controller in an awkward way. Are you using an arcade stick?
