Goldeneye To Be Remade For Xbox Ps3?

The classic first person shooter GoldenEye could be heading for a reboot on both the XBox 360 and Playstation 3, after the domain names GoldenEye 007 Reloaded were registered by James Bond game publisher Activision.
Reports from CVG suggest that this points toward another remake of the N64 game GoldenEye 007, possibly for Nintendo's rivals Sony and Microsoft.
Having already confirmed a new James Bond title for 2011, it is very possible that Acitivsion were hinting at a new version of the 1997 game.
An updated Wii version of the game, developed by Eurocom, was released in November last year, with current Bond Daniel Craig's image replacing Pierce Brosnan's.
The Wii remake also featured eight-player online multiplayer, and a slightly different plot.
Activision have also given the greenlight for a game to accompany Bond 23, which is due for release in October 2012.

wii version was garbage, and I doubt this will turn out good either knowing Activi$ion is involved. And Rare is pretty much dead so that puts them out of the picture. This will only end up a dissapointment

I recomend you all to download Goldeneye Source. Its the closest thing you are going to get and Its actually pretty good.

I say stick to n64. Classics shouldnt be ported IMO. I was excited when Dreamcast games were re-released, then i got sonic adventure.... Bad idea.

no. that was a classic. i feel like they would do the same to Goldeneye as the Xbox did to Conker's Bad Fur Day with Live and Reloaded

I hope they get it as perfectely similar to the N64 version of it. That game is a total classic. I am pretty excited right now, maybe if it looks good enough I'll buy it.
