Cannon Story via Arcade Endings?

So what do you guys think?

Obviously, not all of them are true, but there are overlapping qualities of some of them.

Lui Kang becomes a God

Sektor becomes Grandmaster of the Lin Quei

Kano becomes some sort of Cyberpath

thats all I got, but what do you guys think?
 
Some of them may be a canon partly, ex:

- half-naked chick in Jade's ending isn't there without a reason (but Jade's dead)
- Cage could be send to Seido to lear his power's control (but Nightwolf's dead)
- Sonya's ending refers to story mode (death of her friends) so it suits well

Liu Kang couldn't become a god cause he's dead.
 
Cyrax and Sektor are perfect canon, even with the story mode ending being diferent as well : both Cyrax and Sektor survived in Story Mode, Cyrax's Arcade ending envolve only the Lin Kuei, Sektor and Raiden, and Sektor's ending, only the Lin Kuei itself, so, they perfect fit as canon , as continuity to Story Mode.

** Story Mode has no fatalities in fights for a reason, so, both Cyrax and Sektor survived in Story Mode, and their Arcade ending could be happened after that.
 
Also, elements of others (Smoke = Enenra, Kung Lao = reincarnation, Ermac containing the soul of the king) are likely canon as well.
 
A lot of the endings are more or less impossible because of deaths in the Story Mode, which I very much doubt will be contradicted by Arcade Endings.

- Sektor and Cyrax are currently MIA and could very easily still be alive and playing out their Arcade Endings.

- Ermac is still a wild card, with Shao Kahn gone he could go any number of ways, his ending being just one of those ways.

- Raiden's ending is very plausible.

- Kano's ending is possible, but I don't see much validity in it considering the ending that "confirms" it is Jax's and that can't be true...Jax is dead lol.

- Scorpion's ending may not be canon at the moment, but it could easily play out in the near future.

Raiden could have believed Kang merited a warrior's burial. Raiden had the body taken away because he didn't want it to be damaged any further in the coming fight against Shao Kahn.

Not saying he's definitively dead, just playing devil's advocate lol.
 
Sektor's and Cyrax' endings will likely be canon. Also Liu Kang's is possible if he survived. He could state that Raiden did a poor job defending earthrealm because he needed the interference from the elder gods.

Sonya going rogue is plausible and the ending of Johnny Cage would still make sense even if he didn't receive insane powers. Controlling his attitude and temper in the realm of order would still be a huge improvement.
Also Noob's ending could play out if he somehow survived the soulnado, which would also introduce the chaosrealm and Havik. Kabal's ending could still play out too with the damaging of his respirator happening by another fighter. (I would really like this because of the possible introduction of an entirely new character: the doctor.) Sub-zero's and Scorpions endings could happen too. Smoke's ending is very interesting and could actually spawn a new boss. :)

Quan Chi's ending is absolutely canon.

However the endings of Jax, Kano, Sindel, Nightwolf, Jade, Kitana, Baraka, Shang Tsung, Sheeva, Kratos, Kung Lao, Reptile, Strykerand Cyber sub-zero are probably non-canon.

Demon Smoke as a boss hmmmmm ............ I like it

Maybe "Smoke" is just a vessel housing his true (demon) form and when his body is destroyed the smoke transfers to another body like Yes Man if anyone has ever played fallout

I'd like to see a similar plot thread pursued in the near future...

Diggin' the Fallout reference by the way, I LOVE that series lol.
 
I really hope NetherRealm Studios keep the Sektor Grandmaster thing as canon and extend it on MK10. I find it really fitting and it's an awesome choice.

Now that I think of it, it could make a nice setting for a Cyrax spin-off.

Cyber Subby's too an interesting ending, and could mean a comeback of Shao Kahn on future games with Shao Kahn possesing in a way of speaking the body of Sub-Zero. Although they would need to change the appearance of Cyber Shao Kahn a bit, not liking the one in the ending.

Sektor's ending could play into some future characters such as Frost. Without Sub-Zero to contend with, Sektor can probably hold onto the title of Grandmaster without too much effort unless Cyrax develops a want for it. Frost could get a chance to be more than a generic "I'm an alright person who's trying to be better, but I want power too much!" and actually become something more compelling. She could bog down into generic villainy and just be Sektor's lapdog or she could really develop a path more her own. She could fall into a more interesting neutral alignment by roaming the realm(s) and looking to hone her powers as a cryomancer after realizing that Sektor and the Lin Kuei would only use her for their goals. She could become a real wildcard, a position that has proved very popular within the MK community before.

Just my two cents.

Also, the Doktor as a playable character would be BADASS!

Hmmm, haven't seen Quans ending, mostly because I tagged them all to get it done faster, going to go look now...
 
Sektor- I always liked how he was the coldest one out of all the cyborg ninjas...So him killing his own father to be Grandmaster and hunting down Sub-Zero will be a good storyline.

Cyrax- Im ok with him waging war with Sektor and being part of the White Lotus...I mean u either go that route or u have him rejoin Speacial Forces temorary again just like MK:DA

Kabal- His cyborg looked pretty bad***.

Jade- Im interested to see if Jades plays out the way it did.
