you take an art class at all?

I actually stopped taking art classes in school so I can get more work done. When I was in Elementary School I was already learning how to do stuff like shade pictures myself before any other kids ever learned about that stuff.

Is Johnny supposed to be lying on the ground or is he still standing momentarily as his head is smashed? I am lost on the perspective and moment that you are trying to convey.

Okay that makes sense.

When shading, I suggest using strokes that fit the form of the object and make the shadows more solid. You don't want jagged lines all over the place. There needs to be more contrast with dark and light, as this will make object "pop up" a bit more.

The torso and limbs are not straight, they have subtle curves from muscles and other tissues. Don't be afraid to use references to aid you learning anatomy.
