No, I can't. I personally thought them stupid as hell back then and just shrugged them off. I'll try to do the same this time, but I just feel the time spent on these could have been put into other aspects of the game, or even more fatalities per character. Just seems like a waste. But it's just MY opinion.

To be fair, these are big fan favorites, so there is really no reason they shouldn't return.

Also, if we have Lobbies like in MK vs DCU, you could just create a room that says "SrS MK, no Friendships/Babalities". I'm sure there are plenty of likeminded people who would join.

As for me, I think they are hilarious.

Honestly, I thought they were gonna be lame as well, but they turned out brilliant. NRS you never cease to amaze me.

I think that's what makes them brilliant, honestly. It's a dark game, filled with DECAPITATIOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON! and dismemberment. And yet, you can turn people into BABIES!

It's like Hypocritical Irony FTW!
 
Aw babalities are back? I'd prefer Friendships and Brutalities. Oh well. I won't be using babalities with certain characters because it wouldn't really match their abilities. I would use babalities with someone like Sindel or Shang Tsung. But with characters like Sonya and Jade, I'd rather do their brutalities and friendships.

Your parents should have never existed in the first place! Sorry I had to, and do not really mean it. IF I DID I WOULD BE TYPING IN ALL CAPS! MK is still pretty dark, but they always had some humor. Up until I saw Mileena try to give Scorp a teddy bear. I knew this was not going to be as dark and gritty as they were putting it out to be. Even when Cage makes fun of Zombie Goro's stench, knew it was not going to be all dark. MK always had some humor. Even funeral directors laugh, at least the one's I've had necrophiliac parties with.

Even at that, the darkest fighting game? Yes it is still king. Can't think of any other title then this MK reboot.

Dude, your idea of MK is a little off. Ever since MK2, the series has had some kind of humor in it. I mean, just look at the dude in your avatar! He did not start off as a serious character. He was a joke. A reference to a PRINCE song. If you're gonna ***** about SOMETHING ***** about Kratos who doesn't belong in the series at all. Babalities and Friendships are part of the package.

Not to mention not as dark as they could have been. If a family member with "standards" walks in on your playing it, or your nephew or son or whatnot, when you see "FINISH HIM!", just turn them into a baby and then shoo your distraction out of the room.

Babalities are a part of MK's history. I've loved them since I was a kid.

If you don't like them, don't use them.
