I am sure they will not release it, this is why Microsoft and Netherrealm doesn't say anything about this (negative publicity) and they know when the game release no one will care about the demo. Microsoft always do that in games when they want to sell something else (ex no Unreal 3 dlc because of Halo 3 dlc) and to tell the truth this is how 360 work, only halo and arcade games, still no free online, ban consoles or games (ex new update and sf4 or ssf4) for no reason, block dlc they don't want to sell with country/location areas, exclusive demo ONLY for golden members. I have a xbox but it is very easy to understand it is not Netherrealm/WB or Boon fault for the 360 demo.

I agree about not going to WB or MS, big companies pretty much ignore the individual consumer, even some groups of them. As for Ed Boon's twitter, obviously he made it so that MK fans could keep in the loop with the occasional update that he might post but he is asked the same few questions every couple of days, after a while you'd just start to skip those posts.

Not to mention any legal or contractual obligations that he could be under due to the apparent deal WB made with Sony. PS3 gets demo, exclusive playable character and the 360 version cannot be openly discussed in detail until just before release date or until after the game is released. It may seem a bit far fetched but it is entirely possible.

That said, spamming his twitter won't accomplish anything. Spamming the official MK twitter would probably lead to the same treatment it would've gotten on Ed's, either it'd be met with silence, a reply used to dodge the question or a vague answer that really tells us no more than we already know.

You won't know what the answer on the official MK twitter would be until you try. Could someone link me to the MK twitter? I'd like to take a look at it. Not planning on spamming anyone lol. Again, had I known there was an MK twitter beforehand :P

Its not WB's fault guys, stop saying that shit. They are a company, in which its main goal is to make money. If Sony offers all kinds of money for exclusivity deals for MK, if I were WB, I would take it in a heartbeat. It's Microsoft's fault for not wanting to do it.

In all honesty it's not necessarily anyone's fault.

We don't know the circumstances, so we shouldn't *blame* anyone.

True, but I dont see any reason why WB wouldnt release everything equally on both consoles if it werent for the money.

Portal 2 comes out the same day. Is there any Portal 2 stuff up? I honestly have heard NOTHING about that game and it's a huge title too.

Probably, but assuming it was all a deal with Sony it's still no one's fault. Sony beat Microsoft to the punch, and people are abiding by contract. Assuming the contract goes to some point past now. :P


And yeah, I've seen some promo for Portal. Not to mention it's up on Xbox.com.

No Portal 2 either. Maybe Microsoft is really lazy with updating the marketplace lol.

Yeah, hence if people should complain, they should complain to Microsoft for not being fast enough or offering enough :P.

So maybe we can blame MS for just be lazy with updating new stuff rather than NRS or WB for the lack of MK content on XBL..

Microsoft is also the reason why their version of Portal 2 will be the shittiest.

And you guys have yourselves to blame for supporting such a shitty company. Don't give them any satisfaction by buying inferior products.

And yes, I've gone through 3 Xbox 360s.

There's no reason to start console wars. I won't speak for anyone else, but I personally don't care about your opinion on Xbox or PS3, and I don't really expect anyone to care about mine.

It has nothing to do with console wars. It's called common sense. Don't give a massive corporation who shits all over their customers any kind of satisfaction. Buying the Xbox 360 version of Mortal Kombat shows that you don't care about quality, so Microsoft won't give you any quality.

All of these people here complaining about the lack of a demo or free exclusive content have themselves to blame for supporting Microsoft's shitty business practices.
