Question about "the krypt"

Maybe it´s a stupid question, but i have no clue about this one.
What i know, the krypt is a place were u can unlock some stuff like fatalitys and custumes and so on.
But can you choose what u wanna unlock or is it random? For example: I wanna unlock Mileenas 2rd fatality. Can i pick this one in the krypt, or is it just "luck" to get it?
 
I'm interested in this as well. I've never really played any of the 3D MKs with the krypt. I kind of just stuck with UMK3 and MKII all these years lol
 
I'm fairly certain it's similar to the previous Krypts we've had in the past.

And if you don't know how it was in the past, it wasn't random.

I dont know why these guys just don't answer the simple question.

Look, when you play MK you can own money buy completing competitions or wining matches etc.

these coins or money you can spend at the krypt.

the krypt is a field with a lot of tombs, these tombs you can open with these earned coins/money.

each tomb has his own price, the one is cheap the other is expensive.

you never know what is inside these tombs, you know it after you purchase them.

Sometimes its a artwork, when you're lucky you unlock a alternate costume for a character etc etc.
 
The thing is, that's how the old Krypt worked.
For all we know, they might have slightly changed how the new one actually works and only kept the name.
Well, I guess we'll know for sure soon enough.
 
I sure hope I dont get just random ''artworks'' in those so-expensive tombs! If you've noticed, we only get 80-100 Koins per round.
 
Will the strategy guide tell you whats inside all the tombs in the krypt? In other words all the best goodies like fatalities and alternate costumes?

Where did you get your time machine? Was it expensive? Well anyway get into your time machine and press fast forward and fukn update us. / sarcasm
 
I'd assume the good stuff like new characters/fatalities/costumes would be more expensive so even though you might not know exactly whats in there, you should be able to guess which ones hide the good stuff.
 
From the little bit of video I've seen from the new Krypt, I'm thinking that you can guess which tombs open the best rewards (alt. costumes, characters...) The bigger tombs and mausoleums are reportedly very expensive and I doubt they'll just open concept art.

Im more familiar with the MK Deception krypt because I never played armageddon. In the deception krypt it never told you what was inside. You would just cross your fingers and hope for something good. But it was obvious where the good tombs were because they were the most expensive lol

That's what you get for asking something nobody could possibly answer as of now.
Gee, I can understand people are hyped about that game, but that shouldn't mean losing any kind of common sense...

Thats what i get? Instead of a snide remark just say "im not to sure bro, perhaps when i find out I'll let you know". Dont need to be a smart ass. Im sure other people may have an answer. I wasnt counting on you to give me an answer considering you are new here and may not know about all the spoilers present
