Facepalm, dont use the flash to disclose the rumor. Theres the same flash on scorpion and anyone else when you move to their slot. You're blinding yourself with your fanboy'ism.

I think the point of that Tweety post was not to prove that the white flash is fake, but to prove that the character select screen itself is incredibly easy to doctor and make it seem real.

Watch the Shang Tsung vs Sub Zero video and tell me if you see flashes like that, of the character select icon or the art itself. Protip: You won't.

Using evidence from a faked video to accuse me of "fanboyism" isn't very advisable. The grey flash is on Scorpion's icon in that video because the video is FAKED and it's NOT a video of the actual game being played.

Video of the ACTUAL character select screen contains no such flashes, nor blinking of the character select box.

Try double-checking your own facts before you start throwing around patently false accusations.

The faked video, note that Scorpion does not flash in coherently but rather, the image is in separate colored parts:

Footage from the REAL demo, note that there is NO grey box when changing to a new character, and the white-flashing character image looks completely different.

The white flashes when changing characters are real. The white flashes in the two faked videos are NOT, because they are not actual gameplay; you can TELL they look different from the white flashes in the actual gameplay. The Tweety thing isn't made from the actual game, so Scorpion's box selector has to be done with the same tools that Tweety's was done with, which means it's going to look exactly the same. Actually bothering to think about it for like ten seconds makes that blindingly obvious.

Hell, Scorpion's box even blinks differently in that video than it does in ANY real gameplay video.

Its fake I dont see DC allowing their character's to get ripped to shreds just like in MKvsDC. its a poor edit, but nicely done with the moving of the cursor

"tweety"'s name is in blocky grey letters, while "Green Lantern" is in match gold (and the same font) as scorpion....


either way...i hope its fake! i'd much rather have different ppl, GL dont fit in MK i think...

BUUUT it would be better than nothing, although, i'd rather have a new mode ;p

That would be because the person who made the tweety video obviously did not put any effort into making the text look believable because it was obviously a fake while the person who made the green lantern had to make it look like it was real so they took more care over the font.
 
lol so the guy that faked the video made the effort to make it all "blingy" with the flashing to make it more believable? Doesnt make sense. I'd rather keep it as original as possible with the added fake. When you guys get the game, you will see the difference from different builts.
