You really can't get better at that game. Just do the missions that teach you the combos and you're good. I'm pretty sure he is in the top 5 or 90% of the players wouldn't have had him on their team at Winter Brawl 2011. I'm not crying about the game. I don't even own the game. I just think the game likes depth and has no rewarding feeling when you win.
How many people with Sentinel on their team placed at WB? Sentinel is good and easy to use, but as I said... most top players (as in, much better players than you) do not think he's top 5.
I do play the game the game. I've got a friend that owns it. I play Magneto, Wesker, Doom and probably know more about the game than anyone on this thread. Man, I hate you MK elitists on here always telling people to stfu.
You don't own the game. Play someone better than your friend and then talk about how easy it is.
I wasn't complaining about losing too much. In fact, I win too much. The game is just too easy in my opinion. It just isn't fun to me I guess. I really hope MK is as rewarding as SSFIV is. That game requires strict timing and practice. Here's to hoping MK is as great as it looks!
If you win too much, play someone better. I guarantee you wouldn't have placed even top 32 at Winter Brawl. If you think combos are too easy, learn some of the more advanced combos. This game isn't as deep as SSF4, but it's way deeper than you're making it out to be.
Play against someone who isn't a novice and is actually considered good (offline, not online) and then come back here and say how easy you win.
Im saying Gameplay depth that is to deep does not mean its better epecially when it comes to MK, the goal is to try get everybody to play our game especially the casuals eventually they will be on our side
I meant if you just started playing street fighter and your new to the controls it will be complicated at first you know,..but you got some that just want to pick up the game and just play, me personally street fighter never really caught my eye its not that I hate it, its just that to me street fighter is just not as interesting as MK is
At an entry level, both games are identical (in terms of controls). Please stop saying MK controls are easier than SF controls.
On topic Will this game have cross ups of any kind?
It has a block button. It's impossible to perform a cross-up (like in SF) when a block button exists. Calling it a cross-up indicates that you have to block the other direction. With a block button, you never have to choose which direction to block.
There's a pretty big community in south florida for tekken6. Also was 17 best overall on Xbox Live on ranked and number 1 with my character when I played it online alot.
My xbox account use to be BashMyTinyAss before I stopped paying for it lol. Now I'm SipMilkOutMyAss on PSN.
If you're quoting your XBL rank, you're not a top player. Sorry... online in Tekken is like a completely different game. No skilled player takes online Tekken seriously at all. I could be #1 in the world in online rankings and I would never mention it in a discussion about my skills in the game.
Yea exactly. That's why we should all be thanking Street Fighter 4 for making fighting games a bit more common for the general public. Now all these old school fighting franchises are stepping up there game to the PS3 and Xbox360. If all goes well this MK will be SUPER SUPER popular and spawn some fighting game revolution. That shit would be a dream.
MK vs. DC is the highest selling fighting game on the current generation of consoles (in the US). It outsold SF4, SSF4 and Tekken 6. The sales are not what brought back the fighting game genre, it's the competitive scene. MK has yet to capture the competitive scene that SF has. It won't spawn a "fighting game revolution" until it can do that.
Oh yeah, you can't **** with my Johnny! I happened to win the tournament today at the truck tour, picture of me with the guy who was working there is coming soon, as well as my interview with Mahalo games.
No offense, but you beat up a bunch of people who don't know how to play the game. That doesn't mean much. I watched some of the truck vids and most of the players I saw didn't even understand the concept of block and punish. It's nice that you won, but I wouldn't be bragging about winning that tournament.
Come to Evo and do well, then you can brag. ^_^
