I think it's funny that 360 owners are jealous over Kratos. It's hilarious, really.

That's like being jealous of someone else's Syphilis.
 
I loved the first movie and hate the second so I don't mind Buying the Blu-Ray. Actually I was going to end up buying it anyways now I just get a Klassic Costume to boot.

Well just because you don't want a character doesn't mean other people don't. The great majority of people who pick up the game are going to be excited to see Kratos.

Boy 360 fantoys weren't saying that when they were getting all the exclusive free digital download tracks of Pearl Jam for Rock Band or the exclusive DLC missions on GTA IV.

Shoe's on the other foot now as some developers are starting to favor the PS3 some.

I'm against console exclusives as all it does is cause bickering within the game community. This is not meant for you personally per say, but since you call it the 'poopstation' I take it you're a 360 fanboy, and it IS meant for them.

Edit - fanboy (or toy) is someone who parades their system around as the king console, all the while douching the other systems out there (like calling it the poopstation) instead of supporting the whole gaming community in general and having civil dialogue with fans of other systems. If you don't fit in this category, then the above comments aren't meant for you
 
Can't say I didn't see this coming. Even though I don't care for Kratos, I was completely against exclusives from the start. I explained, if they go the exclusive route for only 1 console, it's not the last time it's going to happen, and it's not always gonna be something we MK fans don't care about. WB has done PS3 exclusives for Arkham Asylum as well, so it's obvious WB has a relationship with Sony that warrants the extra attention. Meanwhile, 360 owners are just getting the game itself, no added features, for the same exact price.

Witht that said, I don't really care much for Jade's "classic" attire, given that her attire is already pretty classic looking as it is. One last thing, and previous rant aside:

Just because the outfit comes with a blu-ray movie, does not mean it couldn't be used by 360 owners. Blu-ray players are a stand alone thing you know, they aren't all inside of a PS3. I have a blu-ray myself. So if it's just a code that comes inside the box that lets you input it, it could be for both consoles. Just a thought...

XBL and PSN use different alpha-numeric structures for code vouchers, so that's an impossibility right there.


As for the topic at hand, if you are complaining about the lack of features on your system of choice, you only have yourself to blame. It is called being a 'smart consumer'. Either buy the system that serves you better or STFU.

I personally own both systems, but I see 2011 as the year of the PS3. Only Gears of War 3 and Forza Motorsport 4 are coming out this year for the Xbox 360 whereas there are over 30 PS3 exclusives... including the Mortal Kombat HD Collection.
 
Not gonna lie, this is stupid. Im really disappointed that NR studios would give first dibs to one platform over the other for MK RELATED KONTENT. Anything MK should be given to both systems at the same time. Probably gonna get this blu ray though for my blu ray player. But what to do with my Jade DLC code for a system I dont have.
 
To be honest, Mortal Kombat has always been a Nintendo/SEGA/Sony series. It makes no sense for anyone to be an Xbox 360 gamer and a Mortal Kombat fan.

Did you guys start gaming late? The original Xbox came out in November 2001.

That's an intelligent statement. MK fans aren't allowed to like other forms of gaming that are more prevailant on other consoles such as FPS on Xbox. Yep, the fact that I own a 360 means I never owned a NES/SNES/N64/Gamecube/Wii, Sega, or, PS2. Good call. Silly me, what was I thinking when I purchased a 360? I didn't know a simple purchase said so much about who I am, my past, and what I can and can't be a fan of. I'll do my best to think things through next time.
 
Wtf, what does being a fan of MK and owning a system you like have to do with anything? Do you think people just buy consoles for one game? Bottom line, developers should treat both consoles equally if youre gonna make games for both consoles, this is just bullshit.

But here is the problem- I'm not the one complaining. If you are getting the inferior version of a game, accept it, then move on. No need to cry about the lack of exclusive characters or DLC.

I just find it odd that a series that has had a more PlayStation-oriented fanbase for the last two generations managed to find some fans on the Xbox family with no prior history or ties to the Mortal Kombat franchise.

You analogously just nose-dived into a pitch-black cave with that move.

It's amazing how some 360 owners immediately turn into spoiled little brats when they don't get their way. Across all games, it's still not even close...360 gets way more exclusive stuff.
 
I already have Mortal Kombat but I guess I can give it away if this means I get a klassic Jade costume but.....Annihilation? Ugh, what a waste of money.....but for Jade, I'll burn it =)

I am a multi-console owner, so I can pick the superior versions of multiplatform games at will, as well as take advantage of the exclusive game libraries of each platform.

Bottom line is, people who make bold decisions only have themselves to blame. Those of you who purchased an Xbox 360 and only own an Xbox 360 have no room to complain.
