Yeah but i dont wanna whip out my laptop in the middle of the event, when someone can just PM me and it goes straight to my Blackberry. I have it set up so that whoever PM's me from TRMK, an email gets sent out, which then goes to my blackberry containing the message.

I am curious to know if this whole VGA character reveal has occurred as a result of Ed being told early he won in the most anticipated category as a right in; I imagine spike would find interest in showing something cool about the game since MK wasn't nominated. In these huge awards ceremonies, people DO find out early if they win, so they can choose to attend the event or accept the award over web-broadcast.

If it turns out Ed does not know whether or not he's won, and a character is being revealed at VGA as a standalone event, winning the most anticipated category would indeed earn us a second character reveal!

Kratos by VGA standalone and Liu Kang by winning most anticipated are my votes.

A Kratos reveal will bring soooo many people to the series. Imagine how awesomely populated the online servers will be for online play!

Also, what role will Liu Kang have in this game? I imagine it will be much different than the original three games. If Raiden is sending a message back in time to change the course of events that originally took place, I'm imagining Liu Kang probably cannot be the tournament champion... In this case, who would be? And, how will this change Liu Kang's role?

Thats what i was thinking as well... Boon stated on Twitter that if we WON, he would reveal a character. However, a few days later it is announced that a character reveal will indeed go ahead, while at the same time, we see a flux of MK fans spamming the living shit out of Spike's most anticipated game category lol. And yeah, the winners should be known by now, that way they winners know whether to attend the event or not, especially if they have something else to do. I have a feeling that MK did indeed win as a write in, and that we are getting the one character reveal because of that. And if it is Kratos that does get revealed... PS3 users, please make an exception and cheat against Kratos users to piss them off, that way we can make them think twice about spamming our beloved game... I can assure you I will do the same if the 360 gets a Gears character.

And I have a feeling that Liu Kang does NOT win the first tournament, as Kung Lao will enter it for some reason or another. Then Liu Kang rises to prominence when Kung Lao gets beaten to a pulp by Shao Kahn. I hope it is him who gets revealed as well, he is the champ of MK!

Again, someone please PM me or email me if you have the time, as I will not be watching the video game awards due to UFC 124.

Why would they change Kratos in a way that doesn't scream God of War? That's stupid and diminishes the purpose of including him in the damn game.

I'm going to make a prediction and say that we'll see Kratos' gameplay and X-Ray move tonight. At the least. Maybe his fatality.

And I think that there will still be another surprise besides Kratos for MK fans happening sometime from now until next Friday. It could be another character (Liu Kang, Sonya, Gears of War), another fatality or maybe even MK HD. I don't know but I have a good feeling.

Too bad I can't watch the VGAs live on TV tonight, hopefully there's a way to see a later recording of it besides being spoilers on the internet?

As much as it pains me to say it, I think we'll see Kratos and his arena revealed tonight at the VGA's.

I agree, I have a huge feeling its gonna be Kratos... oh well.

Anyways, why cant you watch it tonight? do you have access to a computer at least so you could watch it live on that?

It's a stretch, but possible nevertheless. Why bother adding the plural of "reveal" in parentheses if their intent is only to have one reveal, right? Not to get people's hopes up or anything.

I can't believe this thing is going to be two hours long, though. I'm really not sure if I want to wade through all the other crap to get to this.

You can bet Kratos will be one of the reveals. It's the perfect time to announce that to the gaming world. Lets just hope we get an actual MK character to go with it.

It's not good to present your game at something like this and put the main focus on something that ISN'T Mortal Kombat.

Since I live in the UK, is there any way for me to see the VGA's, or will I have to wait until someone posts about who the next reveal is? (My TV provider is Sky, if it matters)

Well they were saying were going to get a new trailer also so that could be the reveal(s) Kratos and then the Trailer.

A. You worked for that company of said console and they laid you off

B. The company stole your idea for the console

C. A console magically came to life, snuck into your home in the middle of the night, and proceeded to skull f*ck you in your sleep

i wish sony and microsoft teamed up with online games, because i bet the ppl on ps3 will pawn you guys because u have those huge controllers. My brother had an xbox 360 so i got my reasons to hate it. Notice the word "had" was used. Im not going to sit here and do all this rappin online, Just no one better reply to me in a way i dont like

It will probably be Kratos or one the 'leaked' characters, I don't really mind but I'd love it if it was someone who noone predicted like Rain OR Termor!! =D
