I know what you're saying but that's only for certain games. TitanFall is an online only game so it'll restart when you go back. But for example Watch Dogs. I can play that in the morning, turn my xbox off/Go to another app come back at 9pm, i'll be exactly where I left off. Some games require you to be online so you might get a server timeout/kick for no activity message and sent back to main screen

I also suggest aiming for a bundle, you're getting a game for free (-$69.99)
 
I was thinking about selling mine too.
My friend from work would freak tf out though. All he does is praise the Xbox. And he would flip his shit when he would come over to my house and see my PS3 sitting on top of my XB1 lol

The pace at which Killer Instinct was getting new content was pissing me off. I also really didn't like controller. You have to consider the controllers when choosing a console, if you're serious about MKX, then the PS4 is the obvious choice, the X1 controller is just not good enough for fighters.

If you're a casual player like me, and just wants to play for the single player experience, how frustrating will playing MKX on the hardest difficulty be with the XB1 controller? Cuz if I can comfortably play, yet still have a challenge, then I'll stick with the XB1. It's gonna take a lot for me to ditch Xbox and go to Playstation, but if it's really that bad, meaning A LOT worse than the 360's controller experience (I was pretty much comfortable with it), I might consider it.

So please give me your honest opinion, and that goes for others too who know about this subject.
 
Well, if you're going to play on a casual level and MKX is the only fighter you're interested in, then the X1 controller shouldn't be too bad, because the special moves won't require you to slide your thumb on the d-pad, you'll only need to ''tap'' the different directions. However, it won't work too well with Killer Instinct or any other 2D fighters. X1 will likely have better online.

Believe it or not, Hori announcing the Fighting Commander 4 for the PS4 made me switch side, that's my favorite controller for fighters, PS4 will also end up having more 3rd party controllers and arcade sticks than the X1, I like having more choices. MKX on X1 will be 990p at best, PS4 will be able to do 1080p.

I think MKX was not as bad as KI on the Xbox One controller because unlike KI it only has 4 attack buttons. KI needing the 3rd heavy attacks on the bumpers makes it really difficult to play with a standard controller. All you REALLY need with MK is the four attacks and the block button. Any other buttons are less important.

That said, playing MKX on both consoles I prefer PS4 controller by far. It's more comfortable to hold no matter the game, but MKX felt better d-pad wise too. Xbox One is better than the 360 pad, but still not perfect.

I'm not sure on if this will be the case on Next Gen or not, they likely won't be using anything different on the Xbox vs PS4 for online.
 
If the XB1 D-Pad is better than the 360's, then I'm not going to consider PS4. Thanks for your help guys.

Does anyone think that the XB1 will get a price drop this Holiday Season? I've been reading articles saying most likely not due to heavy launch sales for next-gen consoles, when compared to when last-gen consoles first launched.

What do you guys think though?
