wut about Reiko?

is there a reason why sum people here just don't like him? I think he was one of the greater charactors from mk4 & I'm very very very happy 2 see him again, I think that he should survive & rule the outworld realm after this game!!!
 
I haven't seen any talk about him at all, so I have no clue what you're talking about. Personally I think he's alright, nothing special though.

I don't see how this is related to MK:A other than the fact that he is returning :?
 
Most people don't like him because he was a medium playing character. *such as Kai, and Jarek from MK4*

If Reiko was Shao Khan everyone would most likely love him, but due to him really having no story other than being a soldier in Khan's army... Well lets just say he doesn't have much of a background.


I really don't mind Reiko, he imitates Shao khan and looks faster so he is like a miny Khan just without the hammer, skull helmet, etc.

I still prefer Khan but he is ok...

Now what I want to know is why people don't like Kabal so much :?

The only thing I see weird is Kai, and Jarek both have fan-clubs, I've saw some Reiko fan clubs but not as many as Kai and Jarek.

Well back on topic,reiko is a general of kahn's army,same thing for rain who had a purple ninja cloths...Same for reiko but without a mask...Pfft than everybody thought that he's kahn(his ending)so everybody is disappointed at him,that's why he has no fans

Anyway true but Rain had more background.


He has fans just not many.

I didn't say they hate him,just don't find him intresting
 
Most of the chars in MK4 don't interest me...Tanya especially. Reiko just has no story...at all, Jarek is a Kano wannabe (as in I prefer Kano), and Kai was just annoying gameplay-wise so I dislike him. Reiko is just somewhere in the middle.
 
The back of Reiko's outfit could do with improving... That big huge metal bit... Man it looks like it deserves a close hook there for hanging stuff on... Or it can come off and be a sledge for snow boarding or something... Or pick up saterlite signals.
 
I don't like Reiko's new look. Too much like Shao Kahn. They should've improved on his old MK4 costume. I also didn't like Reiko much in MK4. They only worth while new character in MK4 is Quan Chi,also the MKA version of Shinnok looks much better. They should make Reiko more cooler like Shinnok. And perhaps give him a storyline where he attempts to overthrow Shao Kahn and in his own ending he is crushed by Shao Kahn.

His costume is an improvement from MK4 I would know I have that game.


Why would he get crushed by Shao Khan in his ending?

They want to make it fair to the character, lord knows I don't want another Reptile: *says something* *dies* X_X.
 
yeah he doesn't have much of a storyline.

just to clarify, his name can't be shortened to kahn. kahn means an emperor, his name is just shao. having a name + kahn is like a chinese title.
just to clear things up because people are acting like thats his last name or something
 
Who knows, they call Scorpion "Scorpion" and that isn't his real name...

But still why would they have him crushed? I mean in Shao Khan's ending go ahead kill Reiko but in Reiko's ending I think that should be reverse.

Maybe they made Shao Khan's name Shao Khan I mean in his life bar Shao Khan... So in other words it is still his name. Just as much as Scorpion is Scorpion. Plus there is no other Khan in MK yet.
