Well i went to see this movie today. It was a good movie. My friend cried during it alot, but she is female. I got teared up at some parts of the movie, nothing that would fall down my cheek though. Parts got a little boring, like alot of the movie was these guys talking to each other while burried. Anyway, it didnt show any of the planes hitting the building, just like from the cops perspective. Anyway, decent movie, 3 of 5 stars from me.

I'll wait for DVD.

I'd say the parts you refer to as 'boring' like when the people were trapped under tonnes of rubble would be anything but boring to them, dude. Terrifying would be more the word. But I get your drift. So was Cage up to scratch, acting wise?

I hope Oliver Stone has done a better job on this movie than Alexander. Now that movie was boring as shit to me. And I love historical epics!

Yeah Cage did a good job.... i mean it wasnt a boring movie, it was good, just not great. But its kind of hard to judge a film like this.

Well, judging by your female companions and your own reaction, I'd say that the film got across the message. Especially since that horrendous event hit the homes and hearts of so many American people. I still remember that day. It was night for me here in AUS and every channel was nothing but that. It was so fullon that I thought it was somehow a giant hoax at first.

It was that fkn terrifying, man.

A film of that kind is to watch it once! I remember seeing United 93, and it get's to you. I guess I'll have the same reaction with this one. The good thing (movie wise) about those film is that they cover the people that went through this situation and horror on facing their death. Good thing that they don't touch topics like the conspiracy....
I know a lot will say it is too soon. Specially those who witness the whole horror for real.

It looks like a severely good film. Ive seen the trailors for it and i really wanna go see it. I really like Oliver Stones films, especially Alexander. WTC is not out here yet which is a shame, but as soon as it is im off to see it

United 93 is another one i wanted to go see but just never got the time. Is it worth seeing then dude?

Yeah, it'll be a DVD job for me too. I'm too lazy to go and see that at the movies. I missed Superman Returns and Pirates 2 at the movies. DVD, here I come! Lol

Its cheaper waiting for DVDs anyway, cinemas are a complete rip off, and theres always chewing gum on the seats. Your better staying in the house with a DVD

Although I agree with your comments for the most part, I do love the whole Cinema experience. Especially when it's a must see movie on the big screen. Star Wars and LOTR's movies are prime examples of this. The big screen has an unbelievable impact on me. It gives you that "Larger Than Life" feel which I love.

I went to see POTC2 about 2 weeks ago and the slag told me it was $14.50 [ausd] to get in. I laughed at her and said, I'll be buying the box set on DVD for that. Cya:mrgreen:

I feel the same way. There are movies worth seeing at the theaters, like those CT just mentioned. To me Superman was also one of them. Lot's of movies released, I usually wait for the DVD. Even if you have a kickass set up with a big HDTV set, home theater,.... It will never replace the experience of the cinema.

Cag eis a good actor no matter what movie, well The Weather Man was a stupid movie IMO, but w/e. I don't think I'll be seeing this movie, I don't enjoy these types of movies.
