what do i have to do to get lui kang and tanya.. it says tanya is at A-3 in a chest..yes there is a chest theer but it was a small koin chest..and for lui kang..it says to meditate behind a tent..cant find a tene..and i am doing this at the right time..but do i have to complete missions first..
 
not, it appears once a week for liu kang. Friday at Midnight. (meaning right after 11:59pm on a thursday)

Tanya starts her chest at around 7:00pm at the ice caves.

I thought it only appeared every friday at a certain time? (Liu Kang's Chest.)

Yeah, at midnight, like they said.
 
Make sure you have finished Konquest to get Liu Kang... To get Tanya, be sure you have defeated her in Kombat during your Konquest, not the one where you free Sindel... if you haven't, her chest will not appear.
 
If we used military time (standard 24 hour time), we wouldn't have this confusion on the Liu Kang chest:

Liu Kang's chest is available in G-8 in Edenia behind Jade's tent on Friday from 00:00 to 00:30.
