Why does everyone hate Stryker?

I think the most vocal people who hate Stryker, hate him strictly for the fact that someone back in the day whipped their asses using Stryker. It's the only logical reason to hate him THAT much.

Why does everyone hate Stryker? cause he sucks...... OK, I would not really go by that route, since then, EVERYONE will gang up on me and label me childish. I hate him because of EVERYTHING. Don't like his design, NONE of his specials that are NOT special in anyway, I mean throw granade, and shoot taser guns? EVERYBODY can do that if they have it in hand. His baton throw and baton trip is just a lame throw and REGULAR move. I do not like his presence in MK. To me, he fits into the game more like Tekken, or the fighters that has to relie in close Kombat only, or so called 'BUTTON MASHERS' WITHOUT distance based SPECIAL Moves. I know people will flame me and go the way and chews down my best kharacter saying that she doen't have much special either, but try ANY of her specials in real life. Human cannonball, I don't think you can do that all the way across, Fireballs? not if you are not some supernatural. MK is about fantasy and involves around Special Moves and Fatalities, Stryker doesn't belong there. Even his new design Didn't change a thing on me to like him. Unlike the characters like Mavado, Hotaru(though he wasn't bad to begin with), or even Hsu Hao, who have GAINED a LOT of fansier Specials on MKD/MKA that I kinda turned a bit into a likable side, Stryker remained as boring as he used to be.
