why do people do the same moves everytime? Cheap players?

i hear a lot of people crying about cheap players nothing fires me up more than people who choose lets say sub-zero and do the clone followed by the freeze and thats all they do until they hit you once and then try to run until time runs out but hey its in the game. Just deal with it. every player in the game is cheap in one way or another they all have special moves. i played a kid who was raiden and all he did was teleport and shock every time. sure i was mad when i lost but he didnt beat me after that when i figured out a counter to it. people also cry if you do the same combos. when i use kabal or scorpion i only use 2 different combos for each of them. why do a 20% damage combo when you can do one thats causes over 30% damage

ALL CHARACTERS IN THE GAME ARE CHEAP.... BELEED DAT

One thing I HATE with this game and Star Wars Battlefront is the voice chat feature. I was WAY happier without knowing that I was getting my ass handed to me by a 10 year old. Oh, by the way. I was officially labeled as being "Cheap" the other day because I was using the throws. I really thought he was going to cry (another prepubescent). I hope this was an isolated case and not the begining of a new set of game rules that ruined another of my favorite games.
 
dude there are no rules. if a player is one dimensional you can guess and pre-empt their attacks defeating them soundly. You just need to discover the proper tactic which may or may not be simple to discover.

sub zero is easy to avoid. far-away the ice ball is cake to duck under. the clone is easily side stepped around, but watch the ice rush. but don't block too much either, cause you can't break his throws.
 
I dont mind if someone does one combo throughout the whole match because it still takes some stratagy to get it done. But the teleport and throw guys annoy me till no end.

right on. tele throws are awful. also, the scorpion combo with that high kick. but anyone could be considered cheap. I, for instance, use darrius and alternate between the low punch and side-step high punch a lot. it works, and i'm 39-7. :shock:
 
Well I haven't played online yet but I will soon and if anyone calls me cheap for using 2 or 3 combos with Noob-Smoke and Raiden, well I'll go Postal on their asses. :twisted:
 
in my opinion, any combo done over and over below 4/5 hits is cheap.
actually, i'll rephrase that. any combo done over and over below 4/5 hits SOULD NOT EVEN BE CONSIDERED A COMBO.

cheap bastards..get some mf skill

anything above that is still cool even if they do it over and over :P ..of course..after 2-3 times, its over...
 
I dont understand why throws are considered cheap. It is meant to be your offense against a blocking opponent. And no tactic is "cheap", since everything has a counter. Like i can stand there and block all I want, but i am subject to throws and low attacks. If i duck and block, I cant be thrown, but I can be hit by attacks that come over the top. So if someone throws you constantly, stop blocking or duck.



And I have to say that I use the combo that is going to deal the most damage, whether it is repetitive or not. People yell at me for doing the same scorpion combo over and over. But who cares...as long as im not cheating you cant call me cheap, since anyone can do what I do.
