Who replaces Skarlet?

Yeah, at first I was hoping that was just a last minute touch they haven't smoothed out but after hearing her backstory, I think it might be a good idea to leave it empty. Skarlet is out fighting because Shao Kahn let her loose, the chains that held her before she was released would be empty without her there...

Just a thought that's recently dawned on me.
