Just curious if there is a good source or if ppl are talking out the ass when they post some of these things.
Where are some people getting the "patch changes" that they are posting?

You gotta follow the various tweets and streams.
Paulo Garcia, Ed Boon, Sanchez and pros like Tom/REO etc. have hinted most of the balance changes that were officially coming.
Otherwise, Ed Boon said in an interview that all patch notes were going to be put up at http://www.themortalkombat.com/ soon. So check it from time to time.
