Where are all the real players?

Ive finally started playing this game online despite the lag, and I have about 80 or so matches played. Out of those 80, Ive played against maybe 10 people that dont spam the same 2 or 3 moves over and over. Whether its Smoke's smoke bomb and teleport, or Sub Zero Ice Clone, all of Scorpion's specials or throwing Kitana's fans the whole match. About 80% of the people I play just spam it up. Where are all the people that play for real and actually know their kharacters combos and that I can have a fun enjoyable match with even if I lose? Im not complaining about losing to all these spammers, my record is like 54-23 (or something like that) Im just sick of having to play in a really boring way to counter all of these guys.

I use Sheeva, Kabal, the occasional Kano and when shit gets real, Sektor.
 
I dont mind if people use Scorpion or Kung Lao or Smoke, just use them correctly and dont spam. I will gladly except defeat from a very good Scorpion player.
 
Beat a smoke spammer yesterday. Took me bout 5 seconds to realize he was rotating tele and smoke bomb. I destroyed him by doing the samepattern in response to his over and over. He never tried to vary it up.

He's the only player on my friendslist that can legit kick my ass.

He ****ing HUMILIATED me with his Reptile.

Wrong, he said Mortal Kombat United, instead of MK Online ( btw, a great site what I'm member too, pretty fun MK discussion there !)

TYM and MKU are cool sites too, but people focus more in gameplay and technical issues, but, the information there are great, lots of very useful tips. I recomend people to make an account there too, worth a lot if you want to improve your gameplay with your favourite character.

But TRMK is the more funny and cool site of all, members here are the best, I guess.
 
I would guess all of the "real" players are paying money to travel to other states to attend tournaments to fight nothing but Sub-Zero, Scorpion, Ermac, Noob players, a single Shang Tsung player & a single Kabal player who can only win by using the infinite block string glitch that will thankfully be removed next patch.

What's wrong with people using Sub-Zero?
