What's Your Favorite Classic?

That would be a hard question for me, but I've thought about it, and altough MK2 has some great potential, I'm gonna have to say... MK3!
 
I loved MK3 the best. The ultimate endurance mode where you and a friend have a 8 vs 8 match was great. We would pick all random charecters and its how we learned to kick ass with every charecter. Great game and even better mode that needs to be brought back in future games. Does anyone know if this mode is available on MK3 or Trilogy for the original playstation?
 
MK Trilogy for the characters, MK2 for the overall feel.

And 8-on-8 Kombat IS in the PS Trilogy, I do not know about the N64 version.
 
MKII... is where i came into the MK world first. I missed the original, but when MKII came out i was instantly hooked on it.
 
I think MK2 is my favorite b/c i love the set up and i think between games it had the most improvement (mk1 to mk2) x cept for MK4 to MKDA. And ppl think just b/c MK4 had 3D it is better that UMK3 well not for me.
 
MK 2. It still retained that epic tournament feel of the first one, but it had better control, better graphics, and the best fatalities of any of the games (Kung Lao's vertical slice, anyone?). They were over-the-top, but not as much as in MK 3; most of them still had an air of realism to them.
