Unlockable .....who and how?

Does somebody know if we have to unlock many charakters or just they are all there and only 3-4. once have to be unlockable? In the past MK - Games it was only possible to unluck 3-4 Chars.
 
We don't know yet. We do know that
Spoiler:
Quan Chi and Cyber Sub-Zero
will be unlockable in some way. Maybe Smoke too. And the Lady in Red, if she's in the game. But these are all guesses, and no one would know until we get the game.
 
I'm thinking that most, but not all, characters will be available at the start. They may do something like in Deadly Alliance where you had to purchase the characters in the Krypt (if my memory serves me correctly). But I'm pretty sure at least a few of them are unlocked by beating them in story mode.
 
Hmm the Story mode will be a first to do for me ...so that would be good :D. But I hope that they make the half off the roster from beginning for free...I will try many chars at the practise mode.

- Suspect of Toasty trick
- Something in the "leaks" points for "not using" block button during a fight .... we don't know what stage involved on it
- Maybe Challenge Tower final prize has changed ..... hehe
 
Probably spread them around... one in the krypt, one in story mode, two in the challenge tower, etc. Make you play every facet of the game to get all the goodies.
 
Skarlett is a DLC not unlockable.
