Trophies/Achievements like this one irritate me...

They're so unoriginal, and are just asking for people to give up or not even try to get all the trophies for your game.

I know they're optional and all, but there are some other good ones on the list that aren't annoying like this one. Its not this game alone that has this type, most do, i just find it really annoying.
 
An achievement should be something that shows you achieved something worth mentioning, hence the word. If anything, achievements like "Finish a tutorial" are the ones that really bug me.
 
I will never understand the attraction of achievement and I definitely agree with the OP some achievements are just ridiculous. I don't see the point. This may be due to the fact I am not an online gamer, I personally do not care about some online score.

For me it's just something fun to work at. I've always had goals in games, even back before 360/PS3 came out. I always try to 100% games and stuff like that. It has nothing to do with being an online gamer, it's being a completetionist. ;) I'm an online gamer but I really don't like most online achievements, they are usually lame. Scuh as a 10 win streak in a row in MK9. I know I'll be able to do that but I think it's a little ridiculous for the casual gamers to get.

i know most of the online achievements in the game are unnecessary but they can't even be compared to this achievement.

My Kung Fu Is Stronger (60) Gain Mastery of All Fighters
 
I think a lot of it isn't so much bragging rights, but proof. Have a skeptical friend who doesn't think you've done something *BAM* there it is...I like to call it my troll silencer :)
