**Tom Brady on PODCAST must listen**

Then you wonder why podcast said that about TRMK lol.

I've collected and played EVERY single MK since MK 1, in 1992.
I still have (and play) all the games on my Sega Genesis, PS1, PS2 and PS3.

Just because I don't know who the f** THAT Tom Brady is, doesn't mean that I'm an MK n00b.

Don't ASSume!!!

I think thats just the emotion that you are feeling when someone takes a game and wants to excel at it. Maybe you should try to excel at something so you can feel high and mighty.

Stay free.

There are lots of things I excel at... No need to be arrogant about it or be an ass

No need to be so offended at being associated with a website that doesn't primarily focus on competitive game play. Especially when it is true.

No dedicated character forums or even threads is just one example that shows people aren't interested in breaking down things.

I lost interest five minutes into his segment.

Ya, I can understand that. It's a discussion about the quality of the fight in the new MK by several high level competitive fighting game fans. The details of wake up, interrupts, cool downs, etc. can probably turn into a 'Charlie Brown's Teacher' podcast.

Actually I didn't hear Tom mention TRMK in the podcast. He did mention T-MK which is Total MK. Unless he meant us and confused the two sites and people, happens a lot but clearly different sites and community.

BUT either way we are still grouped into the "other sites" in his eyes because our community doesn't focus on gameplay. I am not offended by this at all, a lot of truth in his statements. If I had more time and a clone I'd be better at everything on this site, but sadly I only have so much time.

To those saying we don't have MK9 Character Forums, well we don't have that because users have clearly not started MK9 Character Threads that would thusly demand dedicated character forums for the game. We build out the forum as sees fit and needed. Clearly those who frequent here haven't started these threads themselves that they want so much. ;)

Can we have these dedicated threads please?

Also, I don't think it is so black and white when it comes to the 'bloodthirst' and 'gameplay appreciation'. I happen to love BOTH. I always hoped MK would rise to the level of serious competitive play and now it has. But I also love the 'reward' of maiming my opponent after winning. It's this unique end-game 'reward' of finishing off your opponent that makes MK so unique to me.

Umm...good for you??
Yup. Good for me. Is that all?

People are free to enjoy their "breaking down the game", fighting game jargon and tournaments.

I'll give MK a few moments.. occasionally if I have the time.. I am a casual gamer after all. Different strokes for different folks. Hehe.

Umm...good for you??

I found it quite informative and enlightening listening to Tom Brady. I also always look forward to bmsirhc's posts cause he knows a lot about competive play and strategies in which im interested.

Good for you and him.

Just because I don't go to / follow $20,000 MK competitions, it doesn't make me any less of an MK "fan."

Does so. Don't you know? If you're not a combo-whore and a serious MK competitor, you're nothing.... NOTHING!

Now, lets discuss Sonya's fighting stance and how she's ****ing RE-deculous.

I don't think at ANY point during these posts has anyone's level of fandom for the MK franchise been called into question. You can be a fan and just like watching others play. The podcast and most of the people on this thread interested in it are those that are interested in taking their fight to the next level of gameplay. As such, this podcast is FULL of useful information for said players.

^^^ Fixed it for you. :)
