Correct. The word spam itself is misused in fighting games.

Dont forget that you are comparing tournament play to online play. In tournaments, big money is on the line and anyone, including you im sure, will do anything to win that money. If it only takes me 1 button to press to win 1,000-10,000, you can guarantee thats the only button I will press. In online, you can do what ever you want.

The word spam is ALSO misused when a player unleashes a series of projectiles. Spam? Wrong, thats called zoning; the controlling of space. If your opponent decides to back off from pressure then let him have it from full screen. It will be an uphill battle for him for making that decision.

Notice how projectiles are not "spammed" when in close position? Its all about space controlling and what ever it takes to win. Fact of the matter is, if its there, present in the game, then use it. IF the other player allows you to, then do it. If you dont condome that kind of play then apply pressure and dont let them. You cant blame anyone but yourself

Stream will be back shortly but Tom Brady wont be there until 40-50 minutes.
 
Had to leave the stream coz it's getting too late here but last i was there Brady still didn't show up...he was playing casuals after finishing that tournament so it was kind of a bad show from his part i have to say. Not very cool.

But some guys jumped on skype and were answering random questions which was pretty cool. I learned a lot about Ermac and Cyrax just by watching the stream and they gave some good tips on nightwolf and noob.

It was all about Test your Might and MKU though, doesn't seem like they heard of TRMK or anything.

Bah, hopefully Brady shows up on the next one if there is a next one...
 
He didnt get exposed, hes a good player but its only a matter of time until other better players caught up. Give it another month and you will see most of the dominant players have a SF4/MvC3 background.

Tom Brady tested the game, he was one of the ten testers so he had the game months before anyone did. Of course hes going to be good at this game for the first few weeks. Like I've said before, hes a marked man and everyone is after him. Eventually he will get passed.

I'm hoping the bigger names in SF4 will pass him or at least be on par, they have a great competitive community and will only benefit the MK title.

About the bomb traps, it is inescapable. Even a computer on super expert expert expert hard couldnt escape it.

I think I might have missed a few. From previous podcasts, I think I heard him say that Sonya might get her stance fixed.

Scorpion's air grab to become techable? (grab counter)
Subzero not gonna get nerfed.
Cyrax bomb trap gone.
Smoke bomb nerf.
Kabal loop toned down.
Smoke grab tech fixed.
Raiden teleport stays the same.
Smoke's OTG unblockable fixed in the next patch.*
Something about Kano toned down... wasn't clear.
Fixed the Sub back 2 reset glitch.*
Quan Chi trap patched: most likely.*

Working on negative edge. Tom complained about it often but we don't know if they will take it out. Possible. (MQ: man, I would love it to go away so I can use all specials the way I want in combos!)*

F, F specials conflict with dashes : they'll most likely change the command.*

Tom's not getting into specifics about nerfs and buffs, for now.

DLC: can't answer any question. Usually means nice DLC stuff is coming.


General info:
Cyber Sub's EX smoke bomb bigger radius than normal bomb.
If any bomb is on the ground while opponent is on ground, bomb won't freeze.
Air freeze always same freeze time. Ground freeze depends on Ex or not. Can be much longer.

Corner: Reptile Ex dash, 3,2,1 forceball, 3,2,1,, forceball, 3,2,1. Nice damage.

MK9 footsies distance about 1/3 of the screen.

Talked about Reptile's stupid trap (wall combo high low, that if blocked can be countered by another combo) Can't get into details. Search about it.

They wasted A LOT of time waiting for Silent1 to try to pull off combos just to explain something. Good thing they don't run a TV show! ("gotta keep her high brother, much higher" lol)
