Have you noticed on MK 2 when you do the stage fatality on each system it looks different?

Nintendo: Enemy hits ground and blood just comes out of their head and leg.
Sega: Enemy hits ground and a puddle of blood leaks from their back.

And in the 32X version they added more blood around the victim. It does definitely look different on every platform. Kind of odd when you think about it, I guess.

dude, i never even noticed that. doesnt sega have better graphics? i would imagaine that nintendo either didnt have enough budget or enough graphics resolution.

Actually, the SNES had a more powerful graphics processor than the Genesis. Remember, it came out two years later.

I own a genesis and I cant figure out how that fatality works. I try the uppercut like in mk1 and it doesn't work, then i try the combo for the fatality in the acid bath, and it doesn't work. so what is it

Every character has their own unique pit fatality move in MK2 and MK3. The deadpool is the only one in MK2 that can be done in that one way for everyone. Just look for an MK2 movelist, it will list the stage fatality with the other fatalities.

And yes, the SNES had far far better graphics then genesis. The fatality looked particularly different on SNES because they used the Mode 7 effect to display the ground as your character fell towards it to give it a more "3d" feel to it.
