When I first heard of this movie I thought it was going to be extremely gay, but from seeing the teaser it doesnt look bad at all. Any plan on seeing this?

These books are awesome...they were written originally as "kids" books, but the themes they cover were directly related to those prevalent during the times they were written. I hope that the movies can live up to the incredible literature that predates them.

I hope so too. Hey, kid's movies can kick ass too. I'm a sucker for special effects theses days, I dont know what it is.

its the flashing of the words "YOU LOVE THIS PLZ" in the explosions...all in a subliminal level 8)

The movie looks pretty good, but the only one of that series that I remember was The Horse and His Boy...I hope they get that far, because I really liked that one and I'd love to see a movie version of it.

Saw it today, and although the kid who played Lucy was ugly as sin, the movie as a whole was still really good. I've heard a bunch of people complain that it was "Christian Propaganda" and all that, but the only thing I would've even considered to be christian related was when Aslan was reserected...and even that is a bit of a stretch.

A movie is just that...a movie. It didn't want me to make a big turnaround with my life and be a good Christian...if anything, it made me want to love Tilda foreva' and eva' 8)

I read the book like... When I was 8... I can't remember the story now. Still got the book somewhere. I'd read it if I had been 8 years younger. But I don't fancy the idea of reading a old kids book now.

The Christain bit was only frowned upon because recently letters were unearth from the authour to a relative. The writer based the Lion on Jesus. Its crazy though, most people don't even care.

I saw the movie, and I liked it alot. I was overjoyed by the amount of awesome special effects. ;) No, seriously, this movie does rock. 8)

Sounds awsome. to bad i cant see it untill it comes on DVD :x I have my reasons why. i so want to know what this is like :(

Probably not until it hits shelves in, oh, say, a year. Dollars to donuts and coffee that my folks are adding it to their DVD collection.

Okay, I know one of you guys are going to bug me on this post...

Am I likely to see this, even though its a kids stories. After Disney butchered old classic stories like Hercules and Mulan... Nope. I'm not going to see it. Mulan is a classic Chinese story and one I enjoyed when I heard it... But Disney's verison belongs on the fire. And Hercules... Ack! Where do I begin to list the MISTAKES in the story. The orginal stories were both actually a lot better then what they produced.

Yeah... If you haven't guessed it I'm not a Disney fan. Give me a uncut-up book of the same story any day. And you can't change my view on this so don't even try. I'll watch it once when it goes on TV just to say like all movies 'I've seen it'. Its gonna take 2-3 years for it to get onto TV so, yeah, I'm in no hurry to see it.

Besides kids movies don't really intereast me anyway.

The movie was alright just seemed like everything happened fast. I wasnt into all the animals talking. I wanted to see more then Centurions and Fawns and animals for the good side. The bad side seemed to have more races.

Most of these fantasy and big budget action movies have a jesus figure, Neo and Aragorn just to name two.
