[Storyline Theories] Intros of MKX

Let's say that each combination of fighters gets four combat intros, and let's say that Kano kills Sonya in MKX. Wouldn't having them talk about Sonya in all four intros get really old, really fast? This one doesn't preclude Sonya's death, Cassie obviously hates Kano with a passion and it could be because Kano killed Sonya. I don't think he will, I'm just playing devil's advocate!

And about the Kung Lao one, yes, it is weak. But it is not the only one which have just stupid idle threats. That is the way is gonna go between characters with nothing in common (and not enough spice like Cassie)

I don't think it would have been that tough to improve, honestly.

Kung Lao: A dead man walks.
Sub-Zero: Shaolin know nothing of killing.
Kung Lao: You mistake obsession for knowledge.

It's still mediocre, but at least they're actually having a conversation instead of spewing threats past one another.
 
Some intro's are very cool, others are very depressing and boring...

Especially the ones that begin with: Name of the Opposing character...
 
Sub Zero- I see you survived our last encounter
Kano- I survive everything
Sub Zero- Not this time

Kano- Like my new eye, Mate (Glows)
Sub Zero- Ill give you a matching pair
Kano- *spits* Bring it on snowball
