[Storyline Theories] Intros of MKX

I'm surprise no one has made a thread like this yet. I've attempted to compile what Dialogue I've heard in the intros to help learn something about the story. If you find any I've missed or anything that needs to be added/changed, let me know.
(Note: I'm not adding scorpion vs Subzero as it makes little since to me in terms of story. We know their rivalry already.)
(Note 2: The only non-story related quotes I'm adding are the one you can barely understand.

Ferra vs Kotal Kahn

Ferra: Hey Kill Buddy!
Kotal: *Something* *Something* *Something* Purpose. (You have served your purpose?)
Ferra: Don't make me wait. or You maybe late. (most likely the first one)

Theory: Ferra may be some sort of assassin or old friend of Kotal Kahn. (I now fear she will be sidelined like Sheeva and reptile)

Ferra: Kotal Kahn.
Kotal: You've already served your purpose.
Ferra: We be boss now. (Ferra's Bad Grammer?)

Theory: They might have worked for him while he was the Emperor.


Scorpion vs D'Vorah

Scorpion: Come a little closer.
D'Vorah: The Hive... or I've... *Something**Something**Something*
Scorpion: *Something**Something**Something*

Theory: Most Likely nothing.


Cassie Cage vs D'Vorah
D'Vorah: You offend me Human.
Cassie: Look who's talking, Maggot Mouth.
D'Vorah: Perhaps I'll eat your tongue out first.

Theory: Everyone must seem to offend her. Other than that, nothing.


Cassie Cage vs Ferra
Ferra: Ferra *Something**Something* or Aloha? *Something* *Something* (I doubt it)
Cassie: Having a good ride their or You mean that big guy there?
Ferra: Watch...*Something**Something**Something*

Theory: This is probably the second hardest dialogue for me to hear.


Subzero vs Ferra
Ferra: You're time has come (big Z/Sub Z?).
Subzero: (Freeze in ice?)
Ferra: I think not. You stand no chance!

Theory: She was probably tasked with killing Subzero for some reason or another.


Raiden vs Kano
Kano: If it ain't the Big Cheese
Raiden: This will end badly for you
Kano: Better go check your Krystal Ball

Theory: *Pending*

*Comic book wise Raiden & Kano have come in conflict before. With Raiden for some reason trusting Kano to eventually do the right thing...HAHA
*My theory on this is, Kano has put Earthrealm in jeopardy on numerous occasion for his own greed. Raidens tired of it and has a chance to put an "End" to Kano...HAHA!
 
Kmsl, I bet more than half of the cast will be mocking him about how he screwed over everyone for the entire game.

I don't know why, but I swear I though I heard everyone calling him Kortal. Maybe I'm just hearing wrong. Thanks for that.
 
Ed said that some of the intros are tied to certain story events, so I am willing to bet that the Sub-Zero / Raiden dialogue is specific to the story.

Raiden vs Sub-Zero
Raiden: I am their protector, not you!
Sub-Zero: They need a better protector!


I still strongly believe that this has to do with Bi-Han getting saved in the Soulnado and being made the Elder God's Champion / the new Protector of Earth Realm (replacing Raiden).
 
I believe some of your dialogue may be incorrect.

I'm pretty sure, and I've read in different places (and listened to some myself), that these are the dialogue.

Ferra/Torr vs. Kotal (Listened)
F: "We kill Kahn!"
K: something about purpose(I think you're right here)
F: [?]

(Read somewhere)
F: [?]
K: "You exist only to serve me!"
F: "We big boss now!"

Ferra/Torr vs. Sub-Zero (Listened to this one myself; positive this is what I heard)
F: "You gotta face Torr, Frosty/Freezy!"
S: "Beasts are nothing."
F: "You are...*Inaudible*" (but she definitely doesn't say 'nothing')

Ferra/Torr vs. Cassie (Listened;positive)
F: "You're eyes, such pretty!"
C: "Got a thing for eyes, do ya?"
F: "Torr, we each get one!"

D'Vorah vs. Cassie (Listened;positive)
D: "Puny weakling..."
C: "Look who's talking, maggot mouth."
D: "Perhaps I'll eat your tongue first."

These may also have importance in terms of story:

Sub-Zero vs. Raiden(Kombat Tether)
Raiden: "Sub-Zero..."
Sub-Zero: "Fear their powers, Raiden."
Raiden: "That is my challenge…"

D'Vorah vs. Kotal (Kombat Tether)
D: "Kotal..."
K: "With which face do you see me?"
D: "There is no power greater than ours!"

Kano vs. D'Vorah (NRS Tumblr posted a gif--Kano vs. D'Vorah-- and quoted Kano saying this)
K: "Still angry with me?"
D: [?]
K: [?]

The corrections do seem more feasible in my opinion. And F/T vs. Cassie, F/T vs. Sub, and Cassie vs. D'Vorah appear to have no relation to the story.

I would really like if Ferra and Torr were bad guys but transitioned to neutral/good over time due to something they or someone else did. For Example, maybe they tried to dethrone Kotal whilst serving him and (were banished/escaped execution). They possibly may have been saved by a good guy, leading them to become good.

And, since D'Vorah and Ferra's dialogue consists of them being mean to each other, this could very well be the case. (because D'Vorah is related to Kahn somehow and would treat anyone he disliked with hatred).

Buuuttt.. D'Vorah and Kotal's dialogue seems to show the same relation because of the "With which face do you see me?" part. Maybe the theory on Ferra and Torr could be swapped with D'Vorah in a way, making D'Vorah the one who betrayed...or they both could've betrayed him.

Then again(this is my fourth edit), Cassie and Ferra seem to dislike each other so they're probably not good. The closest they'll be to good is neutral if it goes down the way I hope. I feel like I'm not making sense now, but I'm done.

Maybe Torr is mute the entire time, and Ferra speaks for him.

Yeah. I wasn't sure if this had meaning but it very well could mean that he is mute, especially since Ferra only speaks.

Kano: (spits) "[inaudible]"

Kano: "Hmm, the big cheese."
Raiden: "This day will not end well for you."
Kano: (spits) "Get your crystal ball fixed."

Kano: "You talk too much, Torr."
Ferra: "You can't hear Torr!"
Kano: (spits) "Whatever."

Kano: "Over here, sweetheart."
Cassie Cage: "Your grandmother wants her teeth back!"

Kano: "Bedtime baby."
Cassie Cage: "Ha, you'll be the one taking a nap."
Kano: (spits) "COME TO ME!"

Sub-Zero: "[inaudible]"

"Fear their powers, Raiden" seems to refer to the Elder Gods. :marchmellow:
More confirmation that a situation similar to my theory of Sub-Zero being the Elder Gods' Champion in MKX may happen. :)

Raiden: “[Inaudible] I can help you.”
Ferra: “You talk, [Inaudible]”
Raiden is trying to help them…but with what? If they accept his help, could this make them good guys? (I’d like if they were good)


Ferra: “[Inaudible] God!”
Kotal: “You exist only to serve me!”
Ferra: “We big boss now!”
Ferra/Torr are/were servants of Kotal who may want to/have attempted to overthrow him.

D’Vorah: “Kotal…”
Kotal: “With which face do you see me?”
D’Vorah: “There is no power greater than ours!”
D’Vorah has maybe defied Kotal in some way, hence “with which face” dialogue which refers to her being two-faced towards him.

D’Vorah: “[Inaudible] Kotal Khan.”
Kotal: “[Inaudible] not angry with you.”
D’Vorah: “How can I [Inaudible] don’t listen [Inaudible]?”
D’Vorah has done something ill to Kotal, yet he shows consent towards her.

D’Vorah: “Your time’s passed.”
Sub-Zero: “My day is finally dark”
Something is happening here, but I don’t know what.

Kano: “Still angry with me?”
Kano did something that D’Vorah didn’t like.

D’Vorah: “It’s time for you now, Raiden.”
Raiden: “I can protect you, D’Vorah.”
D’Vorah: “Protection? It’s pointless!”
Raiden offers D’Vorah protection and, if she accepts it at some point, it could make her become good//Protection from whom?

Raiden
Raiden: “Sub-Zero…”
Sub-Zero: “Fear their powers, Raiden.”
Raiden: “That is my challenge.”
‘Their’ could be referring to the Elder Gods, as stated by Araknyd.

Raiden: “Step aside cretin!”
D’Vorah: “The emperor suggests YOU do.”
Raiden: “I do not heed the emperor.”
Kotal suggests Raiden get out of his way…but why? Possibly to merge realms? (see next dialogue).

Kano: [Inaudible]
Kotal: “[Inaudible] joining of the realms.”
Someone, maybe Kotal, plans to merge the realms, or has already done so.

Sub-Zero: [Inaudible]
Raiden: “I am their protector, not you!”
Sub-Zero: “They need a better protector!”
Sub-Zero appointed Earthrealm’s new guardian by the Elder Gods?(also stated by Araknyd?)

Cassie 1: “Funny…”
Cassie 2: “You know what’s funny? Your face!”
Cassie 1: “Dude, you just insulted yourself.”
I really like this.
 
Kotal is the new emporer? Are you sure there's no relation to Shao? Remember that Shao can't "die" so maybe a reformation into Kotal or something.

Ed Boon confirmed in an interview that "Kahn" is just a title for Emperors of Outworld.
And that Kotal has no relation to Shao Kahn.
