Special Tag Team Moves and Shao Kahn Playable?

<img src="http://www.trmk.org/images/mk9/x360_56.jpg" width="150" height="203" style="float:right;width:150;height:203;"/>Earlier today our friends at <a href="http://insidemk.altervista.org/homeeng.html">Inside MK discovered</a> that <a href="http://www.playedicola.it/edicola/index.asp?id_brand=112">Issue #56</a> of the Italy's <a href="http://www.playmediacompany.it/edicola/edicola-01.asp?Id=2953&title=X360+Magazine+Xbox+56&cat=Videogame">X360 Magazine</a> has an interview with <b>Ed Boon</b> in which he mentions the possibility of <b>Shao Kahn being playable</b> when discussing <b>special tag-team moves</b> that will exist only when you use certain character combinations. If you read Italian you can <a href="http://www.playedicola.it/edicola/index.asp?id_brand=112">read the article in it's entirety online</a>. Otherwise here is the translated quote from the magazine:

"For me it will be awesome if everybody will find that Scorpion and Sub-Zero worked together in past, just like Jax and Sonya did." said Ed Boon about that possibility to create some Tag Team moves "These are the classic couples that maybe hardcore fans will have fun to discover. We will put inside some special moves when Raiden will be with Shao Kahn or Liu Kang... these are the things we would like players will discover during the game"

It is likely that the boss characters will be playable only after unlocking them, like they were in <a href="http://www.trmk.org/games/mortal_kombat_vs_dc_universe/">Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe</a>.

Ed Boon had stated before that bosses were unplayable if I'm not mistaken. Yet now this... it just doesn't add up for him to just slip that into casual conversation. Sure he is on the widget, but who knows. People have been saying it might be a mistranslation.

Why would it make sense if Shao Kahn and Raiden were a team? In the same sense though why would Scorpion and Sub Zero have a team specific move... so that's not a good argument. Why only in this ITALIAN magazine has this info come out? We should all be questioning this ALOT.
 
On one hand, it wouldn't be the first time that a magazine has gotten a character name wrong or that Ed Boon has made a false statement in order to generate buzz. On the other hand, we've already seen Goro fighting on other stages, as well as his X-Ray move. Hmm.
 
All I know is all bosses better NOT be available online or I'm not playing online. They should be offline only,no exceptions.

My mom will be happy she loves playing as Shao Kahn she would sing this song buy queen about the hammer to fall can't remember the title whenever she beat the hell out of you with him
