Sonya Blade vs. Shao Kahn... help

how do I beat this cheap bastard with sonya?
I managed to do it with almost every character but I can't with her.
Tips please
I play on expert btw, if it can help
 
I was about to suggest spamming the life out of him with the EX laser if you want a cheap effortless way to win. Guess this thread has no purpose now.
 
Lol MK bosses have always sucked.
You'd think fighting a boss you'd have to apply all of your skills and skill level...

Shao Khan can still be a handful with his ridiculous health, damage and armour on virtually all of his moves.

Alisa, where did you get that cap?
 
Shao Kahn, Goro and Kitaro are really susceptible to overhead crossups if you're not too scared to rush them. I play rush-down versus them all the time, its totally easy if you get the timing right. AND YES THIS IS ON EXPERT they don't get better at handling it on higher difficulties
