Solution for DLC Characters Online

I recall a discussion about how DLC will work online, as not everyone will get the DLC characters as soon as they come out. I saw this in the game Deadliest Warrior for the 360 Arcade: they've released DLC characters for download but also a free download that anyone can get which enables you to see the DLC characters when playing online. I think this would be a simple solution for allowing everyone to play against DLC characters online even when they haven't paid for them.

There's no other way to do it unless the chars are already on the disk (damn you Capcom!)

This strategy will advertise the character to those who haven't made the purchase. It is very logical that they will take this route.
