Add me to the (short) list of Mythologies fans.
Very, very underrated game. I honestly don't know what so many people had against the gameplay. It uses the exact same gameplay engine as MK3 but transplanted into a side-scroller. Just take the button layout of MK3 but add two buttons: turn and grab item. If you liked MK3, I see no reason why you won't enjoy Mythologies.
Also it has one of the best thought out storylines in the entire MK series. It pretty much acts as "everything you ever wanted to know about Scorpion, Sub-Zero, and Quan Chi but were afraid to ask".
...and Sareena's a hottie.
Now MK: Special Forces on the other hand is the kind of game you'd be forced to play in Hell for all eternity, with the Brady Bunch theme playing endlessly in the background for good measure.
