Resident Evil 4 Already In The Works

Yeah, no shit. RE3 hasn't even been completed as of yet. But Dark Horizons has confirmed that Jensen Ackles is in talks to portray Leon Kennedy in the film Resident Evil 4. Resident Evil 4 is currently in production and plans to start shooting next year.

If it's as good the game or near enough, then I can't wait.

Who? I can't believe that with all of the RE fans on this board, that noone has commented. Hey, BigE, did you complete RE4, the game? I have finished it 3 times. Once on the NGC and twice on the PS2.

Good shit! I loved it. Easily my favourite in the entire series, along with RE2. Of course, I love them all.
 
It makes me cry how much these movies suck. I love RE so much and to see them get raped by Hollywood makes me so mad. It's my absolute favourite game series ever. It doesn't even matter if they start adding the actual characters to the movies because they'll just end up raping the crap out of them.
 
Indeed. Such is the case with many such games to movie transitions. The upcoming God of War movie has me highly dubious. I live for that game, almost. And I'd rather not see it made, than have it made poorly. The same applies for RE4. But, being the fans that we are, we must see it because we simply....must.

i didn't like the first 2 movies

the games are more like suspencefull, creepy and make you think with a sie of action, but the movies have become just action basically
 
I like Milla Jovovich from the fifth Element. She was good in that. The RE games as a whole are better than the movies. I did like the Nemesis, though. He was mad in the games.

Exacly what I think. These movies don't do justice to the game.
As for my favorites: The very first one, Code Veronica and RE4 are the best.
