Razer Onza

Not d-pad, but I'd like a brand new controller -dedicated- to fighting games only.

I keep feeling as if my dualshock controller's d-pad will break one day of over-use D;

the dpad is way to big and bulky, you would sometimes hit two directions at once on that thing as the big direction buttons are too close together and too big, the idea of a D-pad is to just be using the tips of your thumbs and be able to hover your thumb over the dpad and have access to all directions without having to stretch too far

the playststion one is a perfect example of a responsive functional D-pad that works with accuracy everytime

PlayStation Wins! FUNCTIONALITY!!

(see what i did there) ;)

I have this controller for my PC and it rocks, The level of control and the responsiveness you get it unrivaled compared to the normal Xbox controller. It feels like it was made for PC, a fine example of a Razer product. Oh please make sure you buy the TE not the standard(just a waste without the extra triggers and the tension adjustable sticks.

I dont use the d-pad for fighting games sorry.

Maybe because it IS made by PC people. The buttons are noticeably soft compared to the hard buttons on the other controllers. And thats where I don't like the Razer, the buttons feels like the buttons on your mouse, they click just like a mouse button,and its too soft;

Sometimes, I can't even feel them and I don't even know if I pressed them. Then comes the Dpad itself, it would've been a lot better if the dpad directions were further spread out rather than being so close together.

I am returning this product, and I just bought an ps2 xbox controller adapter instead. When it comes to fighting games, PS2/PS3 controller is the best way to go.

I have the controller, and if you plan on using the dpad for fighting games, DONT.
The dpad is made for racers/menus, the keys are "sticky" and are very bad when trying to pull combos off.

Do not buy the Razer I tried it and the d-pad is to bulky and the buttons are too sensitive, They are also to close together, and the regular buttons click like a mouse and are too sensitive as well, sometimes you dont even know if you pressed them or not.
