its about time specially for me since 90% of the time im online, every shooter or multiplayer game ive bought i allways play online first and never get into the campaign/story untill like a month or so after purchase, yesterday was the only day i didnt play mk9 because i get bored offline so u guys know how i feel, even if its a good a*s rpg i never do more than 2 run through's. "online its where is at"

It was down 2 weeks with the release of Halo 3? This didn't happen, I remember playing that game with friends those two weeks. Bungie.net the finish dates of campaigns and games played simple enough. By the way, rumor (or more truthfully) Sony says it won't have EVERYTHING up by May 3rd and thats not even the final date as of now.

I dont get why people bash PSN so much. Theyve come a looooong way since launch. Though, I bet if they closed that stupid HOME theyd pay more attention to other things.

Haha! Funny comment man! I would love to hear someone say that to me in real life, not even the college professors talk like that. At anyrate I don't see how EVERYONE thinks they are entitled to something free from sony when only PSN+ users should be, although I do think they should have told us what really happened sooner. Plus rep for you!

That is an exaggeration created by Sony fanboys. It was partially down for a few days 4 years ago, and during that time some gamers could still get on. It was never hacked. And Xbox Live subscribers got a free (crappy) game for their trouble.

Lets stop the trolling and the flaming, if you don't have anything nice to say in this thread take it elsewhere. If someone says something you don't like, don't flame or troll back as it's just as much of a problem than the guy who started it all.

That said glad to hear it should be back up soon, been missing playing MK with my PS3 friends.

So here's a question: if hackers already have all of our account info (including usernames and passwords) how can Sony be sure that the original account holders are the ones actually logging back in once PSN goes live next week?

man, the game we were waiting the most to play online, and , when it finally come, some mother****er hackers just put it (PSN) down ...... could be very pleasing just do a "Sheva skin ripper" fatality , for real, in each one of these stupid hackers ......

Glad PSN will be back up soon (tm). Beating the ladder is starting to get tedious ;)

And please, X-Box fanboys, grow up.

Anyway, considering the damage this has done, I'm fairly certain Sony isn't just gonna let this slide. I don't doubt they will continue to hunt these hackers to the end of the world, if nothing else just to set an example. I'm curious to see how PSN will evolve from all this though..
