Yeah it is possible. You see, on Xbox 360 players can use their avatars to represent them in the KOTH room.
PS3 players get the MK Characters as Presets for the KOTH.

It depends on which one you have.
Either way go to Online, then click on SELECT KING OF THE HILL AVATAR
