Post-Oscar Thoughts

All right! So the Academy Awards just ended this past Sunday! Million Dollar Baby got Best Picture, Best Director (way to go, Clint), Best Actress (Hilary Swank), and a Best Supporting Actor to Morgan Freeman. And Jamie Foxx took best Actor (as if anyone thought otherwise).

So, lemme ask you guys: What'd you think? Don't keep it to these tidbits, gimme a reaction to any part of the telecast you want.

i must say for prolly the first time I prefered the outcome of the SAG awards over the Oscars, mainly cuz of million dollar crap, I dont care for Eastwood, I hate hilary swank and I never cared for boxing, although I am glad Morgan Freeman won. And the rest of the winners are pretty much fine with me.

Total sh!t. This is the first time I've watched the Oscars in years and it made me remember why I don't watch the Oscars. I think they should rename it to the Ass-scars.

I was glad that they actually kept it to the point for once; they say every year that they won't let the speeches overrun but they never enforced it before.

However, I was a little confused by some of the music choices -- Morgan Freeman was led out to the "Star Trek TNG" theme, the Terminator theme was used twice, etc.
