I'll be getting the 2 disc edition, of course. I love my Extras. Plus the fact that I have not seen this movie, yet.

  • 2:35:1 Anamorphic Widescreen
  • Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound

  • Meet Davy Jones: Anatomy Of A Legend

I'll probably get the single disk(to cheap to buy bonus stuff)
Normally, the difference between the two editions, costwise, can be minimal. But it really depends on what you are after. As stated above, I really dig the extras on DVD. But alot of people are simply happy enough with just the movie. It doesn't mean that you are cheap, dude. Also, with single editions of most DVD that have decent enough special features, you will 9 times out of 10 get the Audio Commentary tracks with the movie. Which makes sense, I guess.

But don't be too surprised if around Xmas 2006 we get a 3 disc version. Just like the last Pirates movie.

Sure, dude. Did you see Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest at the movies, or are you waiting for it on DVD?

I didn't really like the first one except Depp's performance. It's going to be a rental for me first.

I rent alot of movies. Many of them turn out to be crap. Especially Horror movies of late. Almost 50% of them are absolute shite. I can safely say that POTC2 will be a sure pickup for me. Johhny Depp's performance in the first movie was priceless! So I expect more of the same. ;-)
