I just took a quick look and they updated the amazon page with pretty much the same cover that I thought they would... more or less like the mockup I made earlier....

It's nothing really I've just seen the future based on your past actions. :D I already see it what will happen after release:

- First of course you'll pirate the game because while deep inside you are interested in MK9 you just hate Netherrealm too much and you're confident it will be a bad port.
- Second you'll come here (while we're busy playing :D) to say how bad the port is even if it ends up being good and how many AA issues and whatnot you've noticed. :D
- You'll get a shitstorm in your face (not from me, I already gave up on you after I've read some of your posts when I was bored and saw that you actually think that the idealistic form of communism can be achieved :D - I admit that's not exactly a sign crazyness if we take it into consideration that even Plato believed that his idealistic theory about a state governed by philosophers can work :D)

I just want to protect you really (:D) and no, you've not seen that trailer before because if you had then your previous comment about your GPU makes no sense (okay, it does if you were just bashing the overall graphics quality of the console version but I still stand by my assumption that you just can't be dumb enough to do that).

Anyway thanks for calling me a kid even though I'm older than you, I feel so much younger now. :D
 
Doesn't look too bad, should work well. I'd go for it but I'll be using the fightstick from MK Tournament Edition. I love it so much, even works for Samurai Shodown II.

My mockup? No.. one just like it? Looks that way... I can tell amazon didn't just crop out the cover from the icon I made due to the resolution and size of the white shine on the side.

Also, quit the bickering people.. sheesh.

Well the benefit is that sometimes there are small pre-order bonuses (but I don't care about that personally) but in this case I'm not even sure if there's pre-order there. Apart from that there's no benefit, GMG is just as realiable and in this case also cheaper than Steam. And you see the price in euros because if you live in Europe you have to pay in euros just like on Steam.

I made an account with GMG and I am from Bulgaria ( a country that is indeed a member of the EU ), yet the price didn't change to EUR. I paid 22.50 USD and that's it.

Oh you lucky bastards! :) I've tried everything in the past to make GMG display dollars but nothing's worked.
 
So how about that game I heard was coming to the PC in July for digital distribution and August as a physical release... Mortal... something or other.... Exciting stuff, huh guys? :)

Unfortunately I haven't been able to take advantage of the great deal on GMG because I've no disposable income whatsoever until next month.
 
Me neither, I don't think that I'll preorder on steam as well(if that's going to happen). I wanna hear what people say about the quality of the port first, before I throw my money out.
 
I disagree with the claim that the retail version will require steam as well. I can post a number of sites that indicate, that such information hasn't been confirmed yet. Also, If the retail requires no steam connection, that'd be great for people like me, who dislike Steam for a reason or two. But for steam fans - you can always add it in Steam, so what's the damned problem ? I'm participating more info about the retail, 'cause I plan on buying only if Steam is not present.

Why you need controller that has razer logo on it ? It just the same thing like any another controllers, only with expensive logo. I would strongly recommend getting arcade stick and not some tiny controller.

Where can that arcade stick be bought?
Can you please post some links? How it is connecting to PC?

If that is what i saw on few pics on Google it looks almost like PC keyboard to me.

I don't know i think that i will have no problems playing MK on keyboard after few days.
