online damage different than offline?

I was doing a kombo with Kabal which was b1,2,1 +Tornado Slam which does 23% damage offline, but while I did it online it only does 18% damage, anyone know the reasoning behind this?
 
i have done some combos in training that seem to vary by about 1% once in a while with little to know explanation. i truly do not know why, only reason i noticed is because of doing the bnb combos in training for 2 hours straight when something different happens you notice lol.
 
My main is Kabal so I know what I'm talking about Kabal wise. I'm pretty sure what you did was use nomad dash into your combo online and when you were offline you did the straight up combo minus the dash. I when I do my bnb with kabal (b121> normal dash> f32 Tornado grab) I get 28% dmg and when I start the combo with nomad dash to start the combo I get 22% dmg.
 
Yes, as a fellow Kabal player I'm gonna agree with AMK. Nomad Dash scales damage down just like the other "incapacitating" specials (Ice Ball, Scream, Kiss)
