Official Mortal Kombat X Mobile Thread

The mobile game becomes impossible once you reach Quan Chi's arena. I'm so glad the most badass characters don't require playing the mobile game to unlock costumes lol. As soon as the game is out I know I'm deleting this app. Idc about the female skins so I'm good.

No I dont think so, you can go super far without spending a single dollar. I just currently have A LOT going on in my life and I dont have nearly as much time as I would like to unlock everything so I thought I would just get some of the premium currency to help me do everything a little faster.
 
We're now less than a week away from Mortal Kombat X's official release. With little surprise, we're hearing about a supposed "day 1 patch" for the game. According to source,godisageek.com and their sources this patch will tackle issues including:


  • Improved online stability
  • Multiplayer invite improvements
  • Gameplay fixes and balancing
  • Localized language fixes
  • Bug Fixes

Here is the the write-up from godisageek:

'Mortal Kombat X will have a day one patch on PS4 weighing in at almost 2GB, bringing bug and game balance fixes amongst other things.

Originally posted on reddit and confirmed to us by an independent source, Version 1.01 will improve online stability and multiplayer invite options in the game. According to the reddit post, difficulty has also been increased in some modes, and the coin payout for winning a fight has been dramatically reduced.

Seriously?

Okay first of all my game always crashes after 3-4 matches no matter what.

Second, they said this game wouldnt be as pay to win as Injustice or Immortals and that is a flat out lie.
 
I'm only going to be playing for the Injustice Scorpion skin.

Honestly I would have loved a Vita version of MKX over a phone version any day. Sadly the Vita's just fading into obscurity :(
 
like I've said before, I'm still waiting on Android, so idk anything about the app, is this a version of reptile that's in the mobile game?? And if so, is it exclusive to MKX mobile??

Edit: It may also be Photoshop though. The screenshot is from an android phone, and I damn sure know it's still not up on the Play Store lol.

Is WB account working for ANYONE on mobile? Mine keeps disconnecting (or never connecting in the first place).

Or... Does that become available once you sign in to WB via the console game, then you'll have access via mobile?
 
WB hasn't worked for me since last night around this time, not sure I'm going to be willing to grind this game out, I'm not giving them a single dollar, they set this up to be a money trap and Im stuck on the Kotal fight as well, blocking is a joke, you still take an obscene amount of damage.

Yup same here. They arent getting a penny out of me. This was basically just a way to get more money out of people. They are putting most of the rewards that people want just out of reach it seems so you have to grind like crazy to get them or pay

Yeah I sold my Vita, the thing wasn't receiving any attention from Sony, so my game library was too small to justify keeping the system around.

Vita is only good if you like indie games. Thats pretty much what its become these days and are pretty much the only games that are released on it. When was the last time a AAA game was released for the Vita?
 
Does anyone know when the android version is being released ? I think this game looks hype - give me something to do on the train. Loved the Injustice app. Also I love how u can play as grunts eg- Lin Kuei and Osh-tek ...

It's defnitely fun! But bring a charger... Game eats up your battery faster than kobayashi
 
I don't know if it's been answered, but is there a reason why I'm fighting a lot of the characters with their alternate costumes?

Not nitpicking or anything, just curious. I've started and managed to only unlock Sub-Zero for the moment.
 
...hate to say it, but, in its current state, MKX Mobile is trash.


incredibly unstable, i can generally get 3 or 4 fights done before it crashes... the WBID that you need to unlock MKX stuff is so finicky, it'll say you're logged in, when you are not. the link doesn't actually link.


i can't imagine spending money on this (and i was prepared to do so) until they give it a hefty update.
 
Anyone been able to beat Reptile Boss with Kitana? I can barely get him past 1/2 health. I have a 20 silver scorpion and 12 silver Jacqui Briggs on my team, those two get killed with one combo. He just hits too damn hard. Kits as moves do good damage on him but I can't get two 1tier on him before I die. Anyone have a good strategy
 
God this game is so broken. Every time i start it up. An error pops up and i can never connect to the internet. Injustice wasn't this bad.
