NRS please patch expert mode..........

I think the expert mode in arcade ladder or the story are not a good way to learn the game i mean i can get many flawless victories with csz but when i play against a human i get my ass kicked easily.
plus on the hardest modes in other fighting games like tekken 6 or mvc3 you play some really enjoyable matches your mistakes will be punished for 30-40% of ur health bar.
my point is the AI in mk9 is dump, even the hardest mode is too forgiving to be enjoyable.
and for players new to fighting games, hard or the current expert mode is good to grasp the basics but that's about it....simply put NRS make expert mode for advanced players.

ps:i am not pissed off, i win and lose all the time it's just that we need a way to test strategies on a more intelligent AI

What do you guys think?
 
You really can't simulate a human opponent. Best bet is to make friends or add people from here and just spam private matches
 
I think you're probably right that the algorithm they use isn't the most intelligent. And combos seem to be used sporadically. But I also think that this is more apparent with some characters more than others. I think just as some people can't use certain characters very well, the AI doesn't know how to use certain characters very well. Like CSZ on expert mode isn't nearly as intimidating as he should be, but if I fight Kabal on expert mode I'll just get spun over and over again by his annoying super dash and if I try to block he throws me. I think the AI really takes advantage of knowing what moves you're inputting and so can counter whenever it feels like it. This information seems to be deadlier with characters who are able to instantly punish you like Kabal.
 
This game was designed to optimize deadly combos that punish the opponents mistakes. The AI starts them, but only as responses, and it is kind of lame that they never follow through with their attacks. But it seems like the only efficient way to fight an intelligent AI is to fight a human. But if you don't have online, though you probably don't know true competition, it sucks to fight the same lame robots.
 
i have on-line but i don't play much cus the lag is horrendous in egypt,and i have two friends who have ps3 and mk9 and they are as good as me but the thing is i play with like 4 characters really good in competing against humans and other four who are really only good in expert ladder mode, but they just can't compete with humans cuz i can't get skilled only by playing the ladder with them i tried but the guys were merciless that's why am whining like a b*tch :)
btw i am a good at tekken and mvc3 and i still find playing the cpu at the highest difficulty entertaining ,cus you can and will lose even if you are a great player.
